The thing is electric will always be quicker than internal combustion. The EV has so much less work to do to get that instant power where the combustion engine has to spin up has to heat has to do all this extra work to get its power
Man, if you built a 6 speed transmission for a bigger bore nitro they would compete with electric. It could be done pretty easily from what I can tell. Probably has been done. But yeah, they were kinda close on the dirt💎diamond … love that racing bro
Every single time, but the nitro slash is pretty awesome, and the two speed will go fast once it hits second gear, but electric acceleration is just unbeatable.
@@Rek_Rc Yes a nitro needs a multi gear transmission to hang with electrics. Nitros are a blast unless I am just old school. Different driving experience. I still have all my old ones.
@@kevincain6843 I remember the days before brushless when nitro was the way to go fast. Brushed was good, but of course in those days very limited when it came to speed, but nitro was the way to go fast. Brushless motors certainly did make the RC hobby insanely fast, but there's just something timeless about nitro and they will always be way cool in any era of the hobby.
@@MariKol-yc8wg rc46c. With obr 2 speed transmission. Gtfoh. You probably don't even know what these parts that I named are. Ain't now way a 8s or battery setup beating a 46cc. Join the big league kids. 5th scales.
My drag car can Run a 2.4 second drag pass at 58 MPH on 2s. I've never even tried it on 3s but I think it could do 90. But, I also really like the Fireteam, really good RC in general.
