So good to see him when he was really young, he seems so sweet and kind and I'm sure he still is I hope. His girlfriend was so beautiful. It must have been a wonderful life back then walking the streets of New York I guess. he's still my favorite musician after all these many many decades and I ask for God's blessing to be upon him.
Check out how he treated her. I like his songs though.- Rotolo became pregnant in 1963 by Dylan and had an abortion. Their relationship failed to survive the abortion, Dylan's affair with Joan Baez and the hostility of the Rotolo family. Suze moved into her sister's apartment in August 1963. She and Dylan broke up in 1964, in circumstances which Dylan described in his "Ballad in Plain D". Twenty years later, he apologized for the song, saying: "I must have been a real schmuck to write that. I look back at that particular one and say, of all the songs I've written, maybe I could have left that alone."
I remember riding in car with my Poppa (grandfather), these songs playing on radio. My Poppa , brother, and me singing along. Great memories!! Ive loved Dylan's voice at an early age. His voice always bring me happy memories. Beautiful man with a beautiful voice.

I still feel that time.....we were "freewheeling".....on the dusty roads we found what`s precious....that was our strength, our hope for tomorrow.....and we were running towards the setting sun never thinking of something wrong....
I love you. What you say & sing is sacred. A blessing to us all. We will never forget. Nor grasp music the same way after hearing you. It's all been said & done. Over & over again. Yack attack... Play on, Hassidic man. Regardless of your poking around for a different sound... I'm with you always as with so many others.
I want to thank you so much for publishing this wonderful recording. It is amazing. I'm a lifelong Bob Dylan fan from the 60s and this is the first time I've heard it. It will not be the last.
Snowfire Sunwind "even today"??... what does that mean? Thats like saying the Bible is a good read,...even today!(ever read it?) or the messages that Jesus conveys and teaches are pretty good,...even today! or Calculus is an amazing math,...even today! or Martin Luther Kings message of equality is really still relevant,..even today! or Picasso is a great artist,...even today! or Water gets you wet,..even today! or the Sun heats things up!...even today! or a strong wind blows loose papers around on the ground,..even today! or the snow on the ground is cold to the touch,...even today! or Mozart was great at composing,...even today! or,... Ocean water tastes salty,..even today! Living is Learning,..even today! Einstein was a scientist,...even today!
+Snowfire Sunwind they they they are just trying to get attention to make money. leave they alone and they will not exist stop caring what anyone sais and use common sense from your brain.

That's beautiful of you. When my husband was dying in hospice his friend was playing guitar for him in the room and the last song he heard was Dylan's "Don't think twice it's all right", always one of my favorites. But aren't they all? 😘
I have been performing Dylan songs since 1974. I have quite a few of my efforts on RU-vid. I have never heard this before. I will work on it to add to my rep.
glad so much of his especially early career & also throughout t years is Documented with excellent photographs..wish there were a few of wen he was a little boy from his elementary school days wen he was a child..BD appears to be an 'old soul'.. Wilburys showed pics of George, Tom & Jeff wen they we're little guys but Bobby's was about 14-15.( Loved Tom's piche was a ' tow- head ( blond) little guy-- Very precious)..Wen my children were born, wd get pro pictures done every 3 mos for first 2 years & once/ a year after that. --My own mother has pictures of me wen I was 4 days old.! lol
He should reprise 'Friend of Mine' today, with the same approach, band & studio as the Sinatra collection. And record 'Man on the Street' for the first time.
@@germanscientist5761 Super Duper true, yet perhaps Bob could be a king of expression that cuts straight through to the core of a better insight!?! He does that for me and Jesus, well....he's sooooooooooo much more!!!!❤😊
Robert Allen, Bobby Allyn, Robert Allyn, Bob Allyn, Bob Dillon, Bob Dylan, Jack Frost, Blind Boy Grunt, Boo/Lucky Wilbury, Bob Landy, Sergei Petrov, Elmer Johnson, Robert Milkwood Thomas.
Inside Llewyn Davis by Coen brothers. They made a fictional character Llewyn Davis inspired by Dave Von Ronk in 60s music scene. In the last scene of the movie we see Dylan come and perform as Llewyn Davis leaves.
I'm sorry for your loss. You're a brave man/woman to play this in such a time of sorrow - no truer way to face your pain. "I sat down and got drunk" is a Bukowski line never written.
Ummm. Well, this is a pretty interesting find...Early Bob Dylan that I hadn't heard before. Like that rap about chessmen and a King and Queen in East Orange New Jersey.
would love to have been alive in those days to see this future legend at the begginging. Love Dylan, or elston gunn or jack frost or zimmy or lucky willbury or whatever the hell he goes by at the time.
The unwashed phenomenon... I can see why Baez sang this on diamonds and rust.. Dylan was a legend from the moment he showed up in New York... He had tons of old traditional folk songs and was already writing some but with that nasally tone and the bad guitar/harmonica sound he fast became the go to guy that mesmerized his audience and then Baez heard about him in late 62 and met up with him in 63 and because of her was able to bring his status to the stars...
This is an excellent set! === Internet, is there anywhere to find a HQ rip of this material? I realize that it's a 60s bootleg, I'm just wondering if it's been distributed anywhere. I have an OOP German LP boxset but keep hoping someone's already uploaded it somewhere.
when i first met Bobby so long ago within a few minutes i got the feeling this guy of jewish traditions was more aware of the certainty of death thence the motivation/drive to engage himself to give the calling of being a song and dance type...nothin to lose only those things that come from trying
not bad for a jewish male child, it was his heritage that set me to question the meaning of such things...i gonna say this on the matter, what a great country to be a part of this here America
