Almost 2 years ago I bleed out from an upper and lower gi bleeds. I died 3 times that early morning. I lost some of my stomach and small and large intestines. I am forever thankful I was just a couple of minutes by ambulance from a level 1 trauma hospital.They refused to give up. I was in a coma for over a month. I had some anoxic brain trauma, but was determined to fight through it. I recommend to see a doctor at the first sign of blood. I didn't and I almost didn't make it.
We rushed my husband to the ER a few days ago...he has been bleeding for 3 days now. The ER just sent him home with a referral to a Specialist...yet he is still bleeding
For those who are going through the concern and worry, here's what happened to me: I was having intermittent "spotty" bright red blood in/on my stool roughly once a month or so. It really seemed to be like clockwork in a way. I did not have any mucus, nausea or other symptoms. I just had the intermittent blood. After 6 months, I had a colonoscopy at 38 January of 2023. The results were a hemorrhoid. No polyps or cancers thankfully. I just wanted to share my experience and wishing peace of mind and good health to all of you!

I hope you immediately sought help. When this happened to me, it was a life-threatening emergency and I had to be flown to a bigger hospital after going to the emergency room. It isn't normal to vomit blood.

Its the NSAIDs! I very rarely take them; I took them for about a week or so to get through neck pain. Next thing you know I have the worst gas ever and a few instances of blood stool. Thanks!

What's the food intake suggested during this period? The doctor has suggested to not take any salt in food, just bland food with no oil, spice or salt.
It’s unbelievable how this doctor saw the pictures of what I have, & he ignored it all. I do have over double enlarged fatty liver, 3 times called out on this through MRI w/ dye. I’m not on any meds of those sorts. Horrific pain. I’ve lost so much weight, when I eat, I pay. It’s all over my organs. I’ve had bleeding ulcers before, this bleeding is NOTHING like now. It also spreads, the pain truly spreads. Grateful I missed my dental appt. I know I would have it turned on me. I absolutely have such a mistrust in doctors. I feel I need to save my own life.
It’s pretty painful when nothing comes out but blood after going through the black, it feels like you’re delivering a baby, it’s so much. Yet there’s not a doctor that can be this aware? I didn’t go to medical school, however, I sure know my body & pictures that show it all.
So I've been having dizziness/feeling faint, very tired, black stools dehydration. I was having stomach cramps, bloating, gas,constipation/diarrhea, but they went away and only threw up once but no blood in vomit or stool. Been feeling ill for 2 weeks now...I've had black stool in the past but these last few weeks have been bad. I tried align probiotic for 4 days and it helped somewhat, turned my stool a light tan color, didn't take one today and my stool is black again and I'm feeling very tired, faint. I'm scared to go in and don't know if I should go to ER or the walk-in clinic.
I have Blood in my stool and diarrhea for more than two weeks and still continue , doctor gave antibiotics and after a week of tablets still the same condition , but blood not much and sometimes stool is coming normal and sometimes watery, normally 4 to 5 times going, any,but not pain anywhere, stool tested , found h pylori and entamoeba histolytica ,blood test was normal, so is this any alarm signal of any serious matter?
Does anybody know if laxative such as cascara sagrada can cause severe rectal bleeding that first started with black stool leading to a lot of blood loss.

Stomach bleeding for 3 months maroon colour with stool ,doctors have done nothing from start been in hospital 3/4 times took blood from arm and showing good but still got problem ,do I take doctors to court for failing to investigate from start ,help ??
Yesterday i poop black...i also have done dental work one day before and also i drunk a strawberry shack from Macdonald... Now i am worried whats the reason... Two weeks i have also loose motion but during black poop my stool was little hard... Doctor advised Ciprofloxacin 500 mg+ Entamizole DS+ Labrix tablets..
What would it be if it’s black liquid {like black coffee}, sitting on someone’s lower pajamas but on top of pajamas? I can’t figure this out. I saw it on my mom. It was literally a black pool of liquid. I don’t think she threw it up cause from her mouth to her abdomen were clean. It was sitting on the outside of her hospital gown pajamas.

It’s really upsetting is that the ER doctors said that my blood in my white mucus wasn’t enough to treat, then sent me home. I wake up during the night to spit out blood. Too make it worse, my blood pressure is hard to control too. I can’t do an endoscopy with high blood pressure.
ER’s don’t help. They sent me home with a stomachache. I don’t know what going on with me.. if I’m bleeding inside or if I have parasites. They said my stool sample came up as negative for everything.. poor thing.. please pray to our Lord Jesus Christ. If it wasn’t for Him, I would’ve been dead by now .. I’m so sick.
@@evelina.gukasyan Exactly... ERs are essentially to quell the symptoms then send you off advising follow-up with your physician. They are not there to 'treat' - but to end the 'emergency'. Then, in todays 'medicine' - you follow-up with your physician - they slap an itis on your condition, meaning - they give it a name - then send you off with a pill or two. Not All - but most... so many - that it's time they change them medical symbol to that of a bandaid.
When gas turns to dark diariah and it has left a hard Rock with it ,not the same color(has hues¿) is it a stone 🤔 from where !? Or what else would it be from!!
75 years female .haemoroides .no Malina. . No vomiting .thera blood reports and endoscopy and colonoscopy reports normal.there has COPD.there 1 to 2 months interval GI bleading .no tobacco.no alcohol.why 1to 2 months itervel GI bleading???????????
In order to manage a gi bleeding case you must be familiar with every DDx , it would take days of studying not one video on youtube.please more realistic with your requests
It can be fixed and treated, the sooner it is caught by professionals but basically you have to improve your life style so it doesn’t happen again or turn into something worse
I won’t lie I’m a patient that exaggerates but because I don’t often get sick, so 5 consistent days of my stomach killing,can’t hold down food, can’t sleep, to weak to do anything, like yeah I think I’m dying lmao then my doctor is like we didn’t find anything life threatening or serious everything looks normal it’s dehydration and a stomach virus
