A good Krieger would have used his bayonet as to not waste ammunition. "Tis better to die with a full charge-pack than waste ammo, then your weapon can be picked up and used by another." I believe the quote was
*Sees battlefield Execution* "That... was unnecessary..." Lady, if you knew half as much about Warhammer as most of us do, that was the bare minimum of what needed to be done.
There are two flavours of Militarum veteran. Either you spent a hundred years mopping up shit that could have become big, or survived past your expected lifetime in one fight of the big shit. Krieg in their manner of siege warfare outdo the Cadians in their one, for sure. But Krieg aren't the ones who were born staring into the asshole of the galaxy like their fathers and fathers' fathers and ancestors before them. Get what I mean, here? I mean no offence to the sons of Krieg, but I'd rather have Kasrkin at my back than Korps Sturmtruppen.
Honestly surprised Rory isn't swooning here. The Death Korps practical WORSHIP death as is, and it's their ultimate goal, so I'd imagine they'd adore her and vice versa.
@@Kamina.D.Fierce are you implying the most loyal soldiers of kreig would worship any foul HERETICAL entity other than our most holy god emperor?!! It's not about dying, you have to die a death worthy enough for the emperor's forgiveness
@@lordgod9958 Now now. Who says Rory wouldn't be emissary to the Emperor if she had ever had the glorious chance of meeting him? Even if they hated her, she would likely adore them since they embody the ultimate reverence of death. They seek death to have meaning and forgiveness for "their" sins against the Emperor.
@Kamina.D.Fierce you have a point. Come to think of it there are officially sanctioned(or at least tolerated) death cults so that's probably not far off the mark
What Kind of war is this? This is Warhammer 40k baby! Endless Eternal War! Edit: To give some context I'll shorten it a bit, or make 200 word essay about it... anyways to start with, the gask masked soldiers are known as the Death Korps of Krieg. Soldiers trained to fight and die for the Emperor of Mankind. They're trained from childhood until they're strong and disciplined soldiers deploying up to 50 Million Regiments. So the video starts with a Imperial Guard deployment accompanied by 2 Leman Russ Tanks and 2 Space Marines of the Dark Angels. (tall green armored soldiers) and was ambushed by Traitor Guardsmen and a Space Marines hailing from the traitorous Black Legion. They thought they're were lost in the ambush until the Death Riders came in with horse and spear, accompanied by the 143rd Death Korps Regiment. The red Space Marine is known as Khorne Berserker. Warriors with Savage Brutality and Slaughter The Death Korps soldiers will fight to end not because they're brave or suicidal, because how they were trained to do.
They also fight because they seek repentance for their betrayal to the Imperium and even falling to Chaos which led their entire world into civil war. Also both the Krieg and the Cadians(the guys in green) are both Imperial Guardsmen, the main military branch of the Imperium. Mankind has expanded to the stars and every world humans settled has developed their own societies which in turn has their own military forces and regiments provided to the greater Imperium. This battle could take place in another world far away from their own home world but willing to provide support support to the entire military. There are a lot of regiments that have different uniforms, ideals, culture which makes the empire very diverse which is both good and bad because of how disunified the military can be but is a force to be reckoned when they unite.
Tbf I'd say they just value their duties over their life, suicidal isn't the right term. Those who charged the Khorn berserker knew they had to buy time for the Dark Angel marine and to get the demo man close enough. Also the value of a space marine is way higher than that of an average kriegsman. Although they look suicidal and somewhat stupid they very well care for their life, but not as in to save it but to use it as best as they can to win the battle/campaign they are in. Or their commissar does it for them sometimes.
@@Andat2302 Well said, I need not say nothing more. For Krieg and the Emperor! EDIT: The commissars are there sometimes to make sure the Kriegsmen don't charge stupidly into their deaths....That's why it's more dangerous to be a Commissar in the Death Korp than in any other regiment, because the Kriegsmen might just shoot you because they think you are a coward.
My favorite quote in 40k. From Damnation Crusade Raclaw: "What wars must there be in creation that require warriors like you?" Brother Brunner: "Good Question. Wars like you wouldn't believe..."
Welcome to the grim darkness of the far future where there is only war and no Geneva Accord. The Kriegers aren't brave, to be brave you have to feel fear and still push forwards anyways, the Death Korps of Krieg only feel the need to kill as many of the enemies as possible and the overwhelming desire to seek atonement by dying, not fear.
1:16 "Are those even guns?!" Well... more like fully automatic rocket propelled grenade launchers. Each "bullet" is about the size of a can of Red Bull. The guns themselves are .75 cal. For reference, that's the same calibre on AAA guns you find on warships.
World eaters are the only ones that thinks long range weapons is a coward way in battle, and they only use short range weapons like the bolter pistle or a melee weapon
Warhammer 40K where the space elves made a god out of galactic scale rape, orgies, blood sacrifices, making art of flesh and bones, gladiatorial blood sports, getting high as hell etcétera.
I honestly wasn't expecting how much I was gonna like this, I'd love to see the girls react to more 40k fan stuff ^^'...............ooh boy they're going to see a bunch, SODAZ has done some other great stuff, while there's also Astartes and...I wanna say a few in production
Astartes is actually an official 40k animation now, so ya, started as a fan made animation, until the guy who made it was recruited to make actual animated films for Games Workshop, thus, making astartes an actual official part of war hammer 40k
If they watch Astartes I do hope the watch the original because Games Worshop deleted the original ones because it used copyright music that isn't theirs and replacement music and sound effects are very different which makes some scenes worse or better. It depends on your taste but I do recommend the original.
@@toledochristianmatthew9919 I personally don't mind the changes they made to the music, as overall its largely minor in comparison to what they could have done when talking about a company getting hold of an animation that was originally fan-made, but I understand everyone has their preferences
Hello, my friend sorry I’m late I just watched the video and Thurley enjoyed it and I loved the line “an era of enteral war” you are truly blessed by the God-Emperor and I read the comments and you said you are doing Astartes next I can’t what to see it. P.S. In the Iron’s death videos comments I left a list of suggestions if you had a look at them I hope you enjoyed them and I hope the new characters you are making are coming along nicely.
For context: The normal human soldiers are apart of something called the Imperial Guard and they're your run of the mill, standard foot soldiers and are apart of groups called regiments. Depending on the world, these regiments can vary with numbers and the types of units they bring. For example, the Armageddon Steel Legion from the world of Armageddon have massive factories that churn out massive amounts of tanks and other vehicles and the hive cities present there means they can send massive amounts of troops. Where as a world like a Attila, home to the Atillian Rough Riders can send Calvary units. The Death Korps of Krieg however, come from the world of Krieg and they are capable of sending both Calvary and armored vehicles. The Kriegers have no sense of self preservation, they are born and live for war and following orders, they don't see themselves as people, but instead numbers and have no qualms fighting in the most grueling battles. You see, their homeworld wasn't always a planet that was known for growing people in vats and training them from birth, but at one time it was a Hive World. But the government got cocky due to the massive amounts of defenses on the planet so they decided to break away from the Imperium of Man (Mankind's Empire) not really scared of the consequences because while yes, they had a lot of resources the manpower and resources it would take to reconquer it wasn't worth whatever rewards they would get. But those who were still loyal to the Imperium fought against the separatists, but they were gravely outnumbered. So the commander of the Loyalist forces ordered them to retreat into the few Hive Cities on their side and bombed the planet with enough ordinance to the point where it take hundreds of years for it to return to normal. The planet had become a radioactive, war-torn wasteland where even with protective gear, anything outside the Hive Cities would die from radiation. The loyalists eventually took back the planet, but they believed they performed the ultimate sin against The Emperor of Mankind, (the guy created the Imperium) so they fight grueling battles of siege and trench warfare, brutal wars of attrition in the hopes that the mountains of their corpses would the forgiveness of The Emperor. They are such zealous and faithful warriors to the Imperium that the Commissars, an officer whose job is to make sure that soldiers don't desert or run from battle, have to hold the Death Korps back. Because if you asked them to, they would charge across a minefield without a second thought, if it meant they would be forgiven.
It can be noted, however, that this often leads to them being antagonistic to other regiments that aren't as zealous as they are, as in you aren't willing to give up your life in an instant like they are, then you aren't a true soldier. In the words of Arch Warhammer in his lore video, "And they will tell you so. To your face. Loudly, and repeatedly." Still, not many regiments would have the guts or craziness to bayonet charge a chaos marine in a tunnel, so they got that going for them.
"I was bred to fight and to die for Him. I shall face the Emperor’s enemies, therefore, without fear or doubt. I shall exchange this life He has granted me for the greatest possible advantage to Him. If I can only advance His cause in the slightest, then I shall consider my brief existence worthwhile. I shall do my duty - for what else is there, after all?"
Oh yea the era in this is the 40k era where time and space is a grim darkness of the far future of forgotten science and technology And the god emperor himself the emperor of man
I like this, where characters from another universe react to the Warhammer 40k video. Especially the characters from the Gate series, since most of them are familiar with modern weaponry and are now introduced to the Warhammer universe, whose technology are all over the place. Keep up the good work! : )
Those guys are the Gigachad of warhammer 40k. "We are going to charge with bayonets a Berserk of Khorne to save a valuble space marine!" "YES!" "Are they suicidal?" "YES! And is their duty to be it"
Followers of Khorne: "Blood for the Blood God!" Kriegsmen: "I'll send him my blood, your blood, your mom's blood, your dog's blood..." Khorne: "Krieg... and they say I'm messed up in the head!"
It is Pina, improvising anything is a weapon. A Shovel for example, it maybe a tool, but also a combat weapon. Makeshift weapons such as Knife mass from a piece of metal and sharpened the edges, includes made from razors.
Ah yes, this is what the Krieg soldiers (who are somewhere between 14-18 years old, btw.) call "light training". Edit: Somebody show these guys Death of Hope please :D
The Death Korps of Krieg are one of the most grim imperial regiments within the astra militarum, many regiments despise them as they alone can being down the morale of their fellow guardsmen
2:58 If its a heretic, them thy must be purged ladies 3:54 Thats why i call them shovel knights :/ 4:35 thick daddy armor 5:04 They Die for the Emperor, they do not fear death, because they are the Death Korp Of Krieg 5:42 thats the point :|
Pity the Guardsman... A weak sack of flesh destined to die for a dead god that never cared, he spends his pitiful, brief life, alone in his foxhole with nothing to keep him company, or to keep him safe, than the cheapest, most disposable of equipment. Perhaps the glow from his lasgun barrel keeps him warm at night. Me? As a servant of the Powers I enjoy the delights of all this world and the warp has to offer. Power, it courses through my veins. The gifts of the Chaos Gods will soon overtake me, and one day I may even ascend. What has the Guardsman to look forward to but a grim life, and if he is lucky perhaps he will feel nothing as my axe sends his soul to Khorne. He lives for a corpse god, and he shall join his god, as a corpse. I shall spare a half second to think of him and his kind. Then, I shall only laugh. Hail Chaos! ----------- You would laugh monster, But let me remind you. Within that weak sack of meat and bone, uncared for by his god and wept for by none, beats a heart. A human heart, that carries with it the strength and courage of all mankind. Within that sack of meat is ensconced the hope, the will, and the fury of every man, woman, and child from every corner of the Imperium. Within that weak sack of meat, festooned in thin armour and weapons only powerful in numbers, beats the heart of a man. And for ten thousand years, the hearts of men have beaten, strongly, in defiance of your so called "powers". For ten thousand years, the hearts of men have stood united against a galaxy that despises them for no reason save that they had the audacity not to lay down and die. For ten thousand years, your Black Crusades have been pushed back, beaten down and made a mockery of, by weak sacks of flesh with cheap weapons and disposable equipment. For that weak sack of flesh that you so gleefully mock is no super soldier, no immortal warrior, no creature cursed by Chaos like you. He is a man, an Imperial Guardsman drawn from some forgotten corner of the Imperium to fight for his species and for the safety of the people he loves. He is a factory worker, a farmer, a storekeeper, a father, a brother, a son, a mere man. And against creatures like you, teeming and numberless, powered by the very will of thirsting gods... he holds the line. He has held the line for ten thousand Years. So what's your excuse, monster?
3:00 this is the Warhammer 40k Death Korps of Kreig no survivors they literally blew up a planet until there was nothing but ash and dust and then continued to blow it up
This was nice to watch! It’s really hard to find people who have the people of ‘Gate’ react to stuff like this! Also, I hope you don’t mind a small request on having them react to halo? Ya don’t have to agree it of course, just can’t wait to see their next reactions!
I’m glad you liked it! I’ve done a few more reactions to WH40k stuff with the GATE crew, so I hope you’ll take a look at those too! About your request, I might not do it because I don’t really like Halo… but if you point me in the direction of something Halo related that you think is cool, then I’d be cool with making a reaction to it!
