@@russelmurphy4868 another one was when a Spartan boy returned from having run away his mother hiked up her toga and said if you're going to run away then you might as well crawl back up there while pointing at her womb
I don’t know why but Gate is such a fun fandom to see reacting to things. Also I just have to say, I’ve watched a lot of Gate reacts content and I think this might just be the best I’ve ever seen! I mean that was amazing.
It has the best character designs for sure, including how well their characters are played. They sound like they dropped in from the show, and not just lifeless clones
"My eyes have been blessed!" Rory's reaction at the beginning is priceless when she sees the Spartans. Afterwards, as an apostle of the god of war, it's no wonder that she admires the Spartans and that she wants to fight alongside them.
"No doubt that any one of these warriors can single-handedly take on Zorzal!" Any single Spartan could take on a million Zorzals. He'd just need to kill one and the others would be too busy shitting themselves in fear to fight back as the Spartan just walks to the next one and the next one and so on so forth.
Once again, spotless! Love how Rory literally would feel honored to fight by their side, when you know she's basically a Demi-God who can slaughter modern soldiers and dodge BULLETS, it means quite a lot for her to respect you like that, it fits her well! Lelei was absolutely savage about Tuka's father, poor girl... :') The only suggestion I could think of would be to maybe give them more info after the reaction, so they know better, like for example how these warriors were 300 holding that choke point against literally 70 000 to 300 000 men. If they already doubt Spartans are mere humans they'd be quite surprised haha.~ Also, Fields of Verdun next? PUTAIN OUAIS ! I'm French, so that makes me VERY hyped! I can't wait to see how it goes! But as I said before, don't rush yourself, go at your own pace, quality is way better than quantity! And no, reaction was not mid, everyone talked and reacted a lot, they all felt very alive and in-character compared to many other reactions where they'd mostly just change their facial expressions and comment a little bit. You make them comment A LOT and change their expression A LOT. That's an AMAZING job, my friend. See you on the next video and take care!
Yet again, you're great as always! Your comments always give me that positivity and motivation, so I thank you! 😁 I'll promise to give some information about Fields of Verdun as a proper thanks for your positivity, see you soon! 👋
History behind the song Sparta for those curious and browsing the comments here: Sparta is about the Battle of Thermopylae (a name that translates to Hot Gates) and the stand the Hellenic city states took to stand against Persia (the dynasty’s name escapes me). Unlike 300, the film used in conjunction with the song for this video, 300 Spartan warriors did not stand alone. While the Spartan’s elite forces did indeed stand at around 300 strong, it was also accompanied by around a thousand battle slaves as well as warriors from other Hellenic city states. In this war to maintain the independence of the lands we call modern Greece, the Spartans were one of the major city states leading the war against Persia with the other being Athens. The Battle of Thermopylae ended in a defeat for the Hellenic states in the end but the sacrifices of the warriors in that battle allowed for the other Hellenic city states to prepare their forces for the battle to come next. The traitor who betrayed the Hellenic forces that day was supposedly so despised for selling out their kinsmen that his name became the word for traitor. I can’t confirm that last part at the moment so take it with a handful of salt. As a Sabaton song it is chronologically either the first or second in order of historical timeline depending on when you agree the Art of War was written (since the song of the same name would either be first or second based on those ideas) since the year of the Art of War’s publishing is a contested topic for reasons better left to those who study ancient history.
Fun fact Spartans are trained when they reach 7 years old also Spartans are supposed to have a copper chest plate, copper helmet, copper shield, iron spear, and a sword
@@ForgottenHonor0yes. It was the bronze and iron weapons and shields that gave them an edge compared to the Persians who used more of Wicker woven shields and lighter armor. So the battle was really Heavy armored troops vs light armored soldiers. Add to it the choke point forcing the Persians to limit their troop movements until they were told of the goat pass around the Spartans. It became a slaughterhouse then.
"Go, tell the Spartans, stranger passing by That here, obedient to their laws, we lie." One possible translation of the inscription on the Cenotaph of Thermopolye, on top of the burial mound of Leonidas and his men.
The historical Ephialtes of Trachis, whose name is synonymous in Greek with "nightmare," was a Malian Greek who betrayed the Spartans for Persian gold, showing them a secret path in the mountains through which a contingent of archers were able to flank and ultimately destroy the Spartans.
I always wondered as a kid on how the 300 men manage to survive wave after wave of Persians but as I get older and I read more on history and battle tactics I realized that the Spartans had an advantage cause of their area of combat and since they knew the lay out they had a major advantage against them
We (by we I meant our ancestors) also had a lot more hardcore training (borderline inhumane in fact and many details are being left out of the schools from abroad), they also had a bit better armour and there were few others that helped the Spartans. In all honesty they could withstand more if they weren't betrayed but either way they fell. What I'm annoyed though is the misinformation countries from abroad spread about my country's history and mythology and they insist only to fullfil personal agendas etc .
I have watched both of your other videos, but have forgotten to comment on them so I figured i would start here. First things first, I understand that these kind of projects with this much quality take time so don't be afraid to take some time and recuperate after every video, I can understand the pressure due to my job but don't hurt yourself to validate us. I also get the need to limit what they would react to as the internet is full of random things so just keep on doing what you are and we will see you at the end of the journey. The reactions of the characters feel both in character for all of them, while also spinning just enough to stand out if looked at by another. The designs of all of them look great as well, easily feeling like they really did just get pulled from the special region at that very moment. Rory is obviously my personal favorite due to her quirky attitude but Lelei is a close second due to her oblivious burns to Tuka. Now onto some requests, and as you said only Sabaton was available, here are my personal picks. 1. Defense of Moscow 2. Midway 3. Primo Victoria 4. The end of the War to End All Wars 5. Bismarck 6. Night Witches 7. Screaming Eagles I know this is a lot but you make quality react videos that I want to see more of, but take your time and chip away. The list is also not in any particular order so chose or disregard whichever you like. Take care, and my the Golden King smile upon you. (Wonder if any one would get that one)
I'll make it up to you, Dylan! Anyways, don't worry about me pushing my self-confidence down just to validate every one of you, you and many others already give me enough confidence for all of this! So, call it a return favour. 😉 And I'm glad you're enjoying these videos, I promise to not disappoint! Anyways, look out for Bismarck, The War to End All Wars, Defense of Moscow in the near future! See you soon, Dylan! Glad to have you here. 😁
I know I've commented a lot, but I just want to say. You are literally the best Gacha reactor I've ever seen. I have never seen anything even close. Now it makes sense why these videos take so long 💀
Don't worry my guy, I appreciate that you comment a lot! 😁 Shows that many enjoy these videos! However, I'm definitely not the best Gacha Reactor, there's many more that have more experience and skill than me out there, definitely. But I'll try to do the best I can! 👍
hahahaha, ahhh, this was amazing. Loved the reactions of the girls at the beginning. It was expected of them XDD Great reactions, in accordance of the personalities, very funny. Love it! Now to watch the other videos n.n

Thanks for the shout out. Nice of you to do that for the supporters. I hope to see more content from this channel, I see much potential and you really have an attention to detail on them. I love it! And I can't wait to see Field of Verdun or Rise of Evil next!!
ok that was really freaking good ngl lol also i really love the lil touched you added at the end with some of the comments with purple heart playing in the background lol looking forward to next vid xD hopping you do primo victoria or something tbh xD
Great Video! The way you do your videos is very unique! I've never thought of doing reactions that focus on only two characters for a specific time... Another thing is that I love the detail that is put into making your characters! There are probably more things I can point out that are amazing, but ill say that you've gained a new subscriber!
From what I know about the Spartans is they started training at the age of 8 and had to teach themselves how to steal, and if they were caught they’d be punished, and were also told to fight each other to train and would enter competitions to fight to the death
Some recomendations for next videos: Bismarck Father Christmas truce Fields of verdun The end of the war to end all wars Reign of terror Ghost division Future of warfare.
Rory finally got a glimpse of what a real man looks like. If only she saw Kratos though XD. No possible universe where Itami actually gets laid. None. I asked Doctor strange myself.
Man only three videos and there all so incredible plus! Your videos are high quality and the way the characters react is realistic to. I feel like this is a dream hope you get everything you need physically and mentally
I try not to disappoint, Johannes! 😉 I'm honoured to make someone's dream come true, in addition, you and many others here already give me all the mental help I need, so thank you! ☺️
Let them react to attack of the dead men and in flanders fields Edit: keep the good work my man there,s not a lot of good gacha gate react chanels but i found u and man i was blowned away keep the good work
You know never in a long time have i thought that a Gacha react video would want to make me to write another Gate story again, Have this sub you deserve it
Dreadnought or Devil dogs or even Camouflage from sabaton shoot even the Red Baron or Christmas Truce would be awesome great work as always never ever stop making these masterpieces you earned a new Sub. Maybe even shiroyama give em a taste of Japanese samurai
i just see all the 3 videos you have and i can't say anything else that you are an really good creator the themes that you select are nice your character desing its great im out of words to describe this work of art you have my sub and my respects hope to see more of this but try to don't over work your self it hits hard to try and work to much on something when you feel that you need a rest go and take it is better that giving your self a hard time anyways nice videos and hope you get more subcribers and views you deserve them. btw sorry for the bad english not an english speaker :b
Don't worry, Tank Commander, your English is fine! Anyways, I'm glad you worry about me, but don't worry too much! I promise that I'll have enough rest and won't get fatigued from this. Plus, glad to have great people on board like you, doesn't matter if I have a lot more subscribers, as long as the comment section is active and there's many friendly conversations that can be sparked, I'm happy with that! 😄
a request. if you can make them react to technology and not military once, something like what we use in common life. i think the series how its made will be a great beginning as the show is literally about how things are manufactured
Even if the weapons are far more advanced than the people of the Special Region can normally understand, they can understand the spirit of the soldiers who suffered through those wars. They can understand "They shall not pass!" I guess that applies to Fields of Verdun and Sparta, although I was intended to refer to Fields of Verdun lol. I wonder if the soldiers and leaders of the Special Region would change their stance to the newcomers if some kind of documentary was made or translated so they could understand WW1 and 2. See just how hard and brutal war is with "modern" weapons and just how hard the people of Earth are willing to fight and how much suffering we'll go through to win. They would never be able to talk about glory ever again after seeing the muddy trenches, artillery and chemical warfare of WW1 and the atom bombs or even firebombing of WW2. I can't imagine most cities of the Special Region would survive a firebombing campaign of the sort used against Japanese cities in WW2.
Depending on the source the Spartans and their allied forces were outnumbered somewhere between 30 and 130 to one and held for 3 days and inflicted on the order of 10:1 casualties on the opposition, depending on source.
Correction, depending on the translation scholars from abroad did about our history. Cause here in Greece we have ONE source along with preserved shit in our museums. In there was even an issue with this cause in the past we gave few documents and statutes (like Kariatides) and they were never returned to us which is why we stopped giving them to studies to other countries...also why other countries started to twisting our history and mythology and made fan fictions as a "recorded facts"
Fun fact the spartans weared an armor made of bronze with muscle. Himlita masculada or something like that. So yeah to someone external it may look like they were naked and wore no armor
Great video I can say no less I have never seen a gatcha reaction if this quality also don’t know if intentionally or not but I can tell where it is In the story because Rory has her fishnet leggings
