Idk man i think japanese war crimes are above that, but there aint a sabaton song bout that so i guess final solution or the other ausschwitz song would work
@@wolfe6744 i guess thats easier to say and explain then what the japanese did, but then again no country didnt comit any warcrime during that time, but history is written by the victor so that dosnt matter apparently
@@wolfe6744 thats not to say "oh hey, we did something bad but they did something worse so ignore us" but rather to say, germany wasnt the only country to commit warcrimes, but they did more crimes against humanity than warcrimes, which are similar. Im starting to just talk my butt off, but i wanted to say that people should not focus just focus on a single country if they look for warcrimes, as there is no country that hasnt commited one
Loved their reaction might I suggest Defense of Moscow next and to answer your question Arpeggio they were using rifles, machine guns, grenades, bombs, artillery, and armored fighting vehicles such as tanks, tank destroyers, armored half track designed to protect and carry troops to a battlefield, all these weapons were capable of cutting through a medieval soldiers armor like a pair of scissors across paper.
"Price of a mile" would be good one for them to watch especially the music video made by knight SGC. One of the most brutal depiction of ww1. Also the highlighting the young and gullible dying in a war created by the old.
There’s no need to release at such a rush. The quality of these videos, especially compared with the lower-than-hell quality of the other gacha reaction videos, is fantastic. I would gladly wait a month for a single upload, than several a day just because the content creator felt that they needed to rush it.
The Winged Hussars song would be a good one to show. It'd show them the brilliance of the Polish in the past, and how our Past is strewn with War after War. Plus, it'd probably be something they could understand more due to the lack of "Modern" Weaponry. Though, there is a lack of Winged Hussat Edits. You could likely do Attack of the Dead Men, or Defense of Moscow in that case.
@@belbekstrullour4996 That's right. We will likely never see TRUE Peace in the World, or atleast not for a long time. Besides, if someone's profiting from War, why would they want it to stop?
@@belbekstrullour4996 try the last 1,500 years of human history, the time between world war 2 and now has been some of the most peaceful since the founding of western civilization, and that's ending sense the US is done playing world police and hemorrhaging its own blood and money for a world that doesn't care for it and is no longer in the US's strategic interests
No you couldn't, Rory. A full scale all or nothing war today would leave a burnt and blighted husk of a world with small surviving pockets of people fighting over the less hellish craters. It is horror on a scale even we can't fully comprehend.
Loved these reactions! So high-quality compared to other reaction videos from other creators. Very well made, a lot of the reactions were unexpected but human. Might I suggest they react to “Cliffs Of Gallipoli”, “The Future Of Warfare”, “The Lost Battalion” or “Winged Hussars"?
After that shocking reaction, why not ease them a bit with battle more close to their technology level, but who still keep the bloody insanity that is human from beyond the gate? Like Winged hussards and the largest cavalry charge in history or The last stand, for defense of the religion. (the song is also very good ^^) or Shiroyama to put itami to work.
Loved the reaction, they actually had souls instead of being soulless and staring at the screen! Great content! I do have an idea for a reaction, if you’re open for it.
Ballad of Bull, 1916, Counterstrike, and The end of the War to end all Wars would be insane next choices for songs. For Sabaton unrelated? Maybe informational stuff about the AC-130 Gunship, American Space explorations, A-10 Warthog.
If we’re doing major battles of WW1. I think of a few. Verdun (obviously), Belleau Wood ( the first deployment of the US Marine Corps in WW1), and the Somme. I also think about Flanders as an ancestor of mine participated in the battle. my great great grandfather was an American soldier, he was wounded by shrapnel from a German artillery shell at Flanders. We still have his discharge papers as he was discharged due to his wounds.
Got a new subscriber, nice to see some nice quality work. I wish you best in your endeavors. (As a Sabaton fan and history nerd, top 3 as of r n, Resist and Bite, Unkillable Soldier, and Rorkes Drift)
Congratulations for 1k you are close to 2k.I will wait to see their reaction on the song father, dreadnought and soldier of heaven. Don't overwork yourself make the videos at your own pace Questions 1 Are you going to bring other characters of gate like the king and the stupid prince? 2 What is your favorite sabaton song? 3 Who is your favorite character from gate? 4 How are you? 5 What is your favorite ship?
This video was amazing as always. If you’re doing every Sabaton song I can’t wait for attack of the dead men and Christmas truce. The reactions you’ll have them do will be amazing 😂
IT IS HEREEEEEEEE! And God do I LOVE IT! Glad to see more characters in the first place! And I absolutely love how you explained with a bit of context, their reactions to how deadly this battle was was priceless. It is exactly as you said, the Germans wanted to destroy us at Verdun, they wanted to "Bleed the French Army dry" and force us to give up like that. France took the bulk of the fighting on the Western Front (the French were even involved in the Somme). On the Western front, France suffered the most casualties, more than the whole British Empire even. This war was seen as a war for survival, and it kind of was... I have infinite respect for the Poilus! Back to the video itself, my poor Itami... Also I loved the little detail when Rory quoted you and you animated the fingers moving, that's the first time I see this in a gacha video and it was very well done! RIP Pina though... And hey, sweetheart, as I told you, and as others told you, do not rush yourself. CarBag said it, we'd happily wait a month for a perfect quality video you feel proud of! You're so much better than so many gacha makers, so don't rush yourself. Sorry if I talk a lot by the way- And finally, for the Q&A: What motivated you to make gacha videos about Sabaton specifically? Interest in History? Because of their music? Thought it'd be a good contrast with GATE characters? Looking forward to the Q&A, stay safe!
If I'm gonna be honest with you, I was actually waiting for you to comment. 😅 You're one of my favourite people so far! And don't apologize if you typed too much, I actually look forward for these kind of comments! Sorry if I sound too serious here but the reason why I tend to rush some videos is not because I want to, but because I have to. In a few weeks, I am going to start a very important year, in which may be the year I graduate from my school. Therefore, time is of the essence for me and I plan to complete most of my to-do list in the next few short weeks. I hope you understand. Other than that, thank you, Sae! (Idk if it's fine to call you that. 😅)
@@_blacklight. Aww how sweet of you~ And alright, I won't hold back when commenting then! And I see, I understand, in that case I wish you the best of luck for your graduation, I hope you'll succeed and won't get a burn out, take care of yourself, alright? And of course dear! And it's totally fine to call me Sae too! See you soon
That isn't entirely true. For France, it was a war of _REVENGE_ not survival. Franco-Prussia left a nasty mark on France, which led to a similar line of events as Russia today. It isn't a coincidence that a political ideology centered around revenge is _French._ Also, Verdun was when the numerous French mutinies started. In the end, the French killed _at least as many men_ as the Germans did in their mass executions of mutineers. These mutinies didn't stop until the US joined the war in 1917.
@@TheTrueAdept The first part is true for the beginning of the war, revenge WAS how the French people felt. But as the war dragged on and showed its true horror of industrialized warfare, it became a war of survival, the massive destruction it could cause was a reason French soldiers fought as hard as they did at Verdun and other battles late in the war. As for the second part, this is false. True, THOUSANDS were sentenced to death, but as far as 49 sentences were actually carried out. For the Germans I think it's around 52, so yeah, pretty even, but it's not a "mass execution". The mutinies didn't stop because the US joined the war either. Morale IMPROVED because they joined the war, yes, but the mutinies stopped after Pétain took command and had every unit rotate from Verdun and rest and be treated better.
Glad to see another Video by The G.O.A.T Reactor, Keep Up The Outstanding Work, and take as much time as you need. Wish you well. Also, for the QnA: How did you Come Across Sabaton, and when, And Besides Sabaton, What other types of music Do You Enjoy.
Perfect! Loved the new characters, the luck of Itami regarding doujinshi conventions and the explanation after the video. Very good for the characters to learn more about the video. And yep, funny reactions at the result of the battle. New sub gained : D Edit: Also, don't worry for "cutting the video short", as with half the girls KO, it would had been difficult to continue XD
I have a gut feeling that if you planned for "Ghost Division" in the future, have Zorzal be one of the reactors. He's probably going to be frothing in denial when he learns the story behind that. Other than that, great job. Been your subscriber since your second video popped up. :p
Man seriously you make the best quality GATE reactions on whole YT. You out of all people have the right to take things slow and calm. We all here enjoy your content and of course we would love to see more of it, but at the same time I also fear that the quicker you work the quicker you'll burnout and then we will no content to enjoy. So take your time and enjoy the process as much as we enjoy the content. Sincerely, hope for all that's best for you.
Thank you so much! You've made my day 10x better in an already cheerful overseas trip! 😄 Also, expect the Christmas Truce reaction video on Christmas Eve.. 😉
Man, I just found this channel today and I'm absolutely amazed by the quality of the videos, keep up the great work blacklight!! Also I think two that would be pretty cool to to have Gate react to 82nd all the way and the lost battalion by sabaton, because they are about amazing world war I events that happened within just a few weeks of each other.
Ngl your art style is amazing and every well done with a lot of detail and the part about the history part was amazing keep up the great work and continue to make amazing videos
Glad to see that you are taking care of your self and congratulations on th 1k on the way for 2k and more also I'm waiting for that Q&A keep this great work of art
I do like how they are looking at this and going "This is utter insanity." Yes, yes it was. This was World War 1. This was supposed to be the War to End All Wars. A war so brutal that it toppled monarchies and nobility that had stood for centuries, and finally broke the illusion of war being a "noble" and "honorable" thing. War is hell, and those soldiers saw it firsthand. The worst part is this pretty much just set the stage for the major players in the second war. They call it insanity because it was, and all I can say is this. "This is why we act "weak." Because we did all this to ourselves twice, and know what we can do. Please don't make our mistakes, and for the love of your gods, don't make us show you why we made an entire book about what NOT to do in war. You don't want the Geneva Convention to become the Geneva Checklist."
Yo! This is great than I anticipated! You really good at making the reaction, compared to most other RU-vidr in here. Bonus point because you choosed Field of Verdun causes rarely people react or don't give enough credit for the song. Honestly, with this type of quality, I can't wait to see more from you. Also Q&A huh? That's quick. Anyway, congrats for 1k sub and I can see it will rise till 2k soon. Again, keep up the GREAT work! 👍 Also, I got only 2 questions so here's my questions: 1. What is your favourite battle in Human History? 2. Does you have any War Heroes that you like and respect?
@@_blacklight. It's okay. Just been nice to your viewer is enough as a Thanks. Just keep doing what you did and never change, in a good way of course. That's all what I and other peoples want...
As a man in the French side whose familiy's mutlitple generations has been drafted in the great war to never be seen again, i appreciate people explaining the story of those brave people
Hey man, take things at your own pace, no need to rush, the people subscribed to you will always be waiting with bated breath for the next awesome vid, keep upp the great work, but don't stress yourself out.
Great as always! Also, don't worry about getting the video out quickly. Take your time and process it. Don't want you thinking we demand a video ever day, we all LOVE your content and it's unique style. So long as your not stressing yourself out and burning yourself out, then we won't need to worry. Focus on yourself as well.
Primo Victora! Either that or maybe something more positive, like the Ballad of Bull or No Bullets Fly. The reason I say something like that is how it contrasts with their view of war (Honourable, glorious, heroic) and the view of war the members of the JSDF and these videos have shown the people of the Special Region (Pointless, industrial, brutal.) Maybe a look at an individual hero saving lives rather than taking them would help the people of the Special Region understand how Earth tends to view war. It might allow them to find a little more common ground in terms of their attitude towards war. Maybe the Emperor would like to see this to understand these JSDF people better. On the one hand, the horrors of trench warfare, the barren and blasted landscape of No Mans Land, inhabited only by Lice, well fed Rats and wretched soldiers, huddling away in the mud above the corpses of their comrades from artillery, snipers or gas. Waiting for the next order to go over the top and be mown down by machine guns or impaled on barbed wire. A grinding industrial war fought by idealistic young men for squabbling kings and emperors who thought this war would be just like the last wars. On the other hand, a kind and brave soldier who risked his life several times to save his allies. A man with a face and a name, not just a nameless uniform with a gun. Or an enemy showing mercy when none was usually given or expected when he clearly had nothing to gain. (Of course you would have to use the Yarnhub animated version with the full story.) Another fun one might be Shiroyama, I'm sure the people of the Special Region would understand "When the new meets the old it always ends the ancient ways." Also fun because it talks about Japan. For the Q & A. What was your first Sabaton song and why did you like it enough to become a big fan? Why did it resonate with you? Second question if that is OK. Do you consider yourself a bit of a history buff? If so, when do you think this happened and how does this relate to Sabaton? Were you a history buff before hearing Sabaton or did you get interested after hearing Sabaton doing their thing?
Can they react to Bismarck next or maybe the Midway? Or perhaps just traumatize them with Rise of the Dead Men. All suggestions of course, great content.
Only cementing here to say that the ongoing Battle of Bakhmut has overthrown the Battle of Verdun for the longest battle in history. Verdun was 303 while as of this comment, the Battle of Bakhmut has bee. Raging for 1 year, 1 month, and 15 days
hey man, how does it feel to make such high quality videos? give yourself a pat on the back. also, do you have a discord? If not i can set one up for you, I've set up discords in the past for others.
I love your channel. And it seems you are exploding on the RU-vid scene right now. I want you to know that I was here since your very beginning, and I want you to look back at this comment and remember how far you have came. I love your work keep it up man
You have not disappointed anyone, you have made an interesting reaction video in a fun format and even provided some facts, some of which even I didn't know from 11 years of social studies, so you did an amazing job. Don't put yourself down just because it isn't perfect, because over time that will burn you out make you want to stop making content, instead, try your best each time and watch as the more you make the better you get. You will succeed aslong as you try.
Congratulations on a very well made video like no other one i watched i really like your videos of Gate react, maybe you can make them react to Attack of the dead men, soldier of heaven, Great War, or birsmark
nice vid love the detail could they reacts to sabaton whats the price of a mile and take your time this kind of detail takes time so take all the time you need and hope you have a good day
Aight man this is a cool fxcking damn video and I just found this A FEW MINUTES AGO AND I LOVE IT and I have sum question can u please make them react to Christmas Truce that's one is MY FAVOURITE SABATON SONGS
I love these reaction video I would like to suggest Christmas truce as it shows that there is still a blink of Humanity in wars or the Winged hussars as it's one of the best sabaton songs and famous
You've looked at Verdun. You should have them react to Soldier of Heaven, which is about the Italian Front in WW1. That part of the First World War was also known as the "White War, or "The White Hell", as it was fought in the mountain ranges that formed the border between the Kingdom of Italy and the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
3:02 "Where's their pride in this?" Before WW1, battles usually went along the lines of huge armies marching slowly towards each other in brightly colored uniforms, and then they'd stand in the middle of an open field and shoot at each other until one side turned and ran. There hadn't been any large scale wars for a few decades by now, so everyone was just itching to wring each other's necks. When WW1 started, people flocked to recruitment stations, lied about their ages, and were shipped off to the frontlines. Children as young as ten snuck into training camps and were killed on their first day in what was said to be a war of honor and glory. Millions died before they saw the end of their first month of combat, and it couldn't really even be called combat. They would sit in trenches for weeks on end, where the ground beneath them would turn into mud so deep that some would drown in it, and artillery would leave craters the size of houses wherever it hit. Huge rats feasted on the dead and what little food the armies had, spreading disease like wildfire. Water would become poisonous in the aftermath of gas attacks, and their food would be reduced to ash. The German soldiers were much sneakier and faster in their attacks than the Entente were, so an attack could come at any moment with little to no warning, and they were ferocious fighters, slaughtering dozens of unprepared soldiers in lightning-quick attacks before disappearing under the cover of the night or a gas cloud/smoke screen. Whenever the French or British went over the top and tried to attack the enemy, they would be mercilessly cut down hundreds at a time with artillery and machineguns, long before they could even clearly make out the enemy trenches. There was nothing great to be found in the great war (until the Americans showed up and finally got the frontline moving in the other direction).
The American soldiers didn't do much really, when they arrived in Europe, the war was guaranteed to be won by the Entente. The American war material and it's selling of supplies to the UK was more contribution than the soldiers were. Germany was outta manpower and resources in 1918, whilst the Entente had plenty.
@@mobiletaskforceepsilon1172 I can see your point, but think back to the battle of Belleau Wood. The French were retreating from the Germans when the USMC showed up and literally fought so ferociously that the Germans called them Devil Dogs. Then the Lost Battalion got stuck behind German lines. The Americans and French in the area fought desperately to break through to the Lost Battalion whilst the Lost Battalion itself endured everything the enemy had to throw at them except for an A7V or chemical weapons, opening the way to the open countryside beyond and Germany's inevitable defeat. I'm not saying the Americans won the war single-handedly, I'm just saying that they played a major part in it all the same.
