This is so cool. He truly is a legend! I was born in 1993, long time after he passed and I'm here learning all about him. He was an interesting person and fun to watch and learn about. R.I.P Elvis 🤍🕊
Bless your heart. You chose an absolute American Icon to "fall in love" with and learn about and hopefully tell others. Tell everyone about ELVIS. Keep his legacy alive! It's important! I love you ELVIS forever!💜⚡️⚡️🙏😇
Elvis walked up to a complete stranger, chatted her up about the car she was looking at, and he just bought it for her. Unbelievable. How many celebrities today do you think would do that? ZERO. He was one of a kind.
@@matchthat5053 My younger brother was in the same platoon and motorpool as Elvis. They once peeled tators together. My brother said Elvis was just a regular guy.
I’m a huge fan of elvis Presley’s and I love 💕 elviss music and flims too elvis will always be the king 👑 of rock and roll 🎸 my dream is to visit Graceland and communicate with elvis 7:41pm
I think it is nice to have these videos for those who can't get to Graceland for them to be able to see the house, the style of interior decoration and design and furniture that Elvis' liked, as well as his cars. I know it's wonderful be able to see it in person but it's also nice to see the actual house, etc. in the videos too.
I have now been going to beetles George Harrison’s Manor House in Radlett, Watford.. near London since 1975..as it’s turned into a holy worshiping place..it’s a beautiful big mansion type of retreat he had .. complete with a reservoir & gardens..& vast grounds..you think you own it when you’re there as it’s god’s place..lovely feeling..
Elvis DID pull up next to us in the Stutz and i remember some other black car before that. He's also ridden horses up there in the yard to the right of the house We used to live not far from Graceland and went past there all the time. My dad worked for GE and a second job (5 kids) at what used to be the Southwest Twin Drive-In. We could see the screen from our house and see what was playing with binoculars I was in third grade when we moved The old neighborhood has gone to total shit. It was a nice place for a while, we could wander around all over the place as kids and think nothing of it. Wouldn't go there now without armor and heavy weapons. Oddly enough we ended up living in Tupelo for a while too. My mother and some friends have some unpublished pictures when they met him in Little Rock and he was still blonde.
How cool he bought over 200 cars and gave away roughly 170 such a Badass move back then too that’s why he’s the King not just for his music a total class Act All The Way ... ... 👑
A person that worked for my Dad was at party in Huntsville Alabama in the70’s and Elvis bought everyone at the party a Lincoln continental. I think it was 20 or more
Cadillac had electric windows, power steering, power brakes and everything electric in 1949. That's when RR still had roll up windows, no power steering or anything. The chassis of this RR was all aluminium, so it was lighter than the previous models, and it came with a V8 connected to a Chrysler gearbox. These people know absolutely shit about cars!
You would think that a museum would know to go to Coker Tires on 1317 Chestnut St, Chattanooga, TN for new vintage tire replacements. Especially since they are in the same state. If they don`t have them they will make them for you.
@@Toby_the_Glen Because she replied that a lot of them needed to tires, but they wouldn`t know where to aquire them. You wouldn`t leave rotten flat tires on museum quality vehicles and in most cases originals arent available. So yeah you use reproductions. I simply to her wehere ther could be purchased, just so happend the company that reproduces then are in the same city as the museum. Your question is lacking thought and intelligence.
My wife ( Tanya marie procter ) took me to Graceland in September 28 2018 for my 50th birthday ,this place was amazing, the cars and planes you need more than a day to see all this, being English I grew up with older sibling being Elvis fans ,so to be stood in his house was unreal.very cool.
Love the channel! I am from Northeast Arkansas and, so the story goes, Elvis would come to Lepanto (about an hour drive) and watch a drive in movie in the wee hours of the morning. Apparently he knew the owner of the theatre. Can anyone shed more light on this story? How much time did Elvis spend on that side of the river?
It’s not only a Tennessee law it’s a law in every state And not all fluids it’s only the gasoline As if you drain the oil and leave it dry it will rust the inside moving parts and essentially destroy the motor Better ask somebody
Thanks for this fantastic presentation. Seeing these cars live and 'in the flesh' at Graceland was the ultimate experience. I look forward to another visit soon.
Very interesting to see how the air conditioning was set up for the 55 Cadillac an the real story how the car was past on to his mother. With regards to the Stutz....as with anything I guess...even if something just sits and due to aging it needed to be completely redone engine wise.Great to hear and see, EPE steps up to the plate to keep Elvis artifacts' up to par. This series is well done, thanks to Graceland (EPE) ! Good job by all....Looking forward to more !
That air conditioning was strange. They most certainly had factory air in Cadillacs, they had it in regular 55 Chevys. Never ever seen an air setup in the trunk. Cadillacs and Oldsmobile had air conditioning going back to at least 49. By 1955 you were able to get most car options you have today although they might have been special order. Power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, power convertible top, automatic transmissions, power windows, electric windshield wipers, windshield squirters and of course those crazy headlight dimmers
@@michaelszczys8316 Very few 1955 Chevys came with AC, and few of any other cars. Early cars had the AC in the trunk and the air vents coming out the rear package shelf.
Very Nice to see thanks for showing us Elvis's cars, appreciate it, waiting for Part 2. Elvis always Number 1!!! This is in time for Memorial Day Great!!!!
I took lots of photos in Elvis' car museum car museum I loved the Stutz and because I'm British his two Rolls Royces!!!! Great to see inside those iconic cars I Love Gates of Graceland
When Elvis was touring in Detroit his Entourage picked up some people that were broken down on the side of the freeway. About a month later, a top condition used car was delivered to their house in Michigan.
Enjoyed watching this we miss him so much had the pleasure of seeing him live sung the song first I’m so hurt read it from paper been to Graceland twiced once with my children once by ourselfs anything to do with Elvis I enjoy
This is wonderful stuff. I really appreciate this. As today, I haven't had time to visit Graceland, but hope that I will some day. I wonder, when Elvis got that single/45 with the song 'Feelings" by Morris Albert back in 1975, which is a beautiful song and very sad, if that was something he got because of his past experience.

Sophie Brown it's fun to visit Graceland I'm from Memphis and I'm black i remember very well when Elvis passed away i have all his music. It was a sad, sad day in Memphis. It was crazy on Elvis Presley Blvd that Day.
Those were the original Italian Air Conditioning for people that couldn’t afford factory installed dash A/C. Loved vent windows. Turning them completely open for a nice breeze on a beautiful Spring,Summer, or Fall ride. You just had to be sure ash trays were closed and any papers or other light objects in car were secured, cuz those vent windows created a vortex when completely opened.
