We flew north of the Arctic Circle in Alaska and flew around the Gates of the Arctic National Park. The Arrigetch Mountains were spectacular!

What is a good route through the Brooks range? I was thinking Bettles to Anaktuvuk Pass. Is that doable or just follow the Dalton?

Depends on your intent and weather. Following the canyons is always beautiful, but not the shortest route.

@@GeoffOliver61N end destination is near dead horse area and not off the road very far. But all that avgas is getting burned I’d like a sweet experience. Weather and getting boxed in a canyon are my two biggest concerns.
