I bought a gates belt. It shredded in 20 minutes. I really don’t know what happened. I don’t think there quality is that great

gates seem like quality parts, but you should always go with OEM belts, to ensure you are getting the exact size of belt

In fact Gates is the OEM manufacturer for most belts.
