Hi there, greetings from Argentina. The very first bass-baritone who joined the mashup was Tony Bodell. In some mashups he apparntly is sitting in a car. The second one is the young man in red shirt; then comes the third one, who is a blond bearded guy. Then comes the young guy with the "Austin" hoody: he is an incredible bass singer; in fact he has a douet with a vocal coach called "Malinda". Cool! The young blonde lady (Helen Sky) sings several voices: soprano and mezzo as well. Cheers from NE Patagonia, Argentina.

There are a ton of versions of this right now. The young man singing bass in the red flannel is 19 years old. He also dueted with Austin Brown from Home Free on TikTok on the song Delta Dawn. He's a very talented young man!

tounging actually refers to stripping the wail of fat, it has nothing to do with the tounge.

Tonguing isn't actually meant in a literal way. There was no value in a whale's tongue. It was a slang term for stripping off portions of whale blubber (subepidermal body fat) from a hunted whale's carcass. The stripes obviously bore a resemblance to tongues with their shape (at least according to the whalers) and hence the process was named "tonguing". I repeat, nobody was interested in the actual tongue. Whales were hunted for fat and whalebone and neither could be found in their tongues.

Hey Mike. Can you react to the studio produced version of the wellerman? It’s by the first 5 guys on the duet chain so up to “filler baritone” those 5, except Nathan sadly but it’s still absolutely amazing and the 2 basses are insane

Every single person I see mentions what a great addition the blonde woman is but I've never seen her credited on any of the mash-ups so I can't ever see her original version and that makes me sad
