Hi Andy ,just wanted to say how much I love your videos ,your a great tradesman with a real appreciation of all the beautiful work the Victorian and other periods created , incredible work . I'm a bricklayer myself ,but don't have anywhere close to your skills ,I would have loved to work with someone like you when I was a youngster ,could a learned so much . Thanks for your excellent work ,so nice to watch and learn something ,all the best 👍😂
Andy that was the best bricklaying video I’ve seen for a long time . That repair is immaculate. Even the texture is spot on and looks just like rubbers . As clock to perfection as you can get. Great video mate . 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Enjoy Majorca 😎🥃🍸🍹🍾🍷🥂🍻🍺🧱👍🏼
Looks great Andy.Just been binge-watching your recommendation on Glen Veniss’s bricklaying channel.I can honestly say it’s the best entertainment I’ve watched for years.Him and Mick are hysterical but with some great tips and advice.Episode 7 “Bricklaying with a hangover…”is something else. Thanks once again and keep your videos coming 👍.
Hi, the difference in the reaction to G V by the two young carpenter/joiners was a laugh. The guy who stayed and played along was obviously more world wise. What jolly japes!
Arch came out great mate , never seen it done like that 👍 Also use the same type of grinder attachment for removing old tight joints in stonemasonry here 👍
Wow! Really great work. I would never of thought of doing it like that so every day is a school day. Did you find Glenn Vennis? I loved his vids. He used to crack me up🤣
Thanks for the vid! Always learn something new here. So many questions. Why not just replace the arch with a preformed one? Can regular bricks be laid with such tight joints?
A preformed gauge arch that size would be expensive, ive cut arches with 5 mill joints but when you go down to 2/1 mill its difficult and you really need rubbers which are also expensive.
Yea, I was shown the basics many years ago and was lucky to be in a job I could perfect it but I don't do enough of it to call myself a Tuck Pointer.Yep a lot of these Lime blokes are Demons and Wizards.
@@bricklayersworldwithandy6277 I bet the old boy who taught me when I was a kid knew how to do it but you just don’t get to do it that often. Should do a course really 👌🏻👍🏻
An Irish man went to book a holiday said to the agent I want 2 weeks in majorcar the agent said the agent said yes but the j is silent when you pronounce it he said when do want to go paddy said the last week in hoon and the first week in hooley 😀
I think you are right Sue, i did buy some blank cartridges but never got to try them, i also tried a smaller syringe which was a lot easier on the hand but there is only so much you can show on a vid 👍
