I just got the EX Ron. The EQs I do agree sound nicer, tracks just sounded so good and rich, amazing! The EX also sound epic, equally good soundstage but I find I need to change the equaliser more and like you say, the ANC is terrible, and sat on a bus or public transport you lose so much sound quality. The EX more comfortable and harder to accidentally tap the controls than the EQ. For comfort it goes to the EX, they feel lighter and like I hardly have anything in my ear and feel totally secure (I've tried a lot of buds out and none really feel that solid for me so that's a huge plus) I do love the long shape of the EQ case and looks slicker. But the EX also looks v. slick. But, I would say, for anyone questioning, you gotta just try them out. If the EQ never felt like they were going to fall out my right ear I would 100% settled on them and not gone for the EX too.

I would take the EQ over the EX. Better bass, way better ANC. I will give comfort to the EX, though. Now, the Between 3ANC sound WAY better than both and is about half the price.
I tried a lot of earbuds and i have a lot but i don’t find the GRAAL of earbuds :( I’va paid a lot for earbuds but sometimes they lack in bass :( They have solid voices, clear sound but they lack in bass…. What is the best earbuds you’ve listen for just regards in sound quality? I love bass a lot, but i want good clear sound and good soundstage too. I tried the soundcore liberty 3 pro, they sound amazing but their highs are too cristalized (i dont’t know if you understand), and the comfort was terrible ! I think of seenheiser M3? Master and dynamics M8? What is your favorites earbuds for sound? Thank you sir !! Awesome job :)
Beoplay are both so far the best earbuds on the market regarding sound quality with truly powerful bass. I got myself EQ half year ago. Some issues with the app on android, most solved by software update. BUT il you are an earbud sound, and especially bass fan, EX is (with higher audio level) definitely the winner over EQ which is already better than any other earbuds...
@@lfransolet The Beoplay EX has great volume and good sound, but I disagree when it comes to bass. The EQ has much deeper, fuller bass than the EX. Like I said, hopefully B&O fixes that with an update along with the ANC.
@@ronontech Yea EQ is on sale for half the price now. I love the range of earbus that you've covered in your videos man! Im still deciding between the ATH TWX9, Beoplay EQ, or the Technics AZ60. My budget is kinda at the sale price of EQ, so TWX9 would require me to push my budget a lot higher. Which would you recommend in your opinion Ron?
Louder is not better. No.1 Loud may be beneficial in loud environments but loud will kill your hearing over time. No.2 The louder a digital audio device can play, the poorer the low volume performance will be due to losses in digital attenuation. So please dont rave about that one earbud is louder than the other. Loud will kill your hearing. No.3 Whats really important is the level of passive noise isolation, soundstaging, timing and timbre. You might want to check out audiophile recordings, so you could assess the soundquality better. Thanks for the work.
I agree, listening to music too loud will damage your hearing. I normally don't listen to audio using earbuds at max volume. Also, thanks for the suggestions and support.
please tell me with which software are the Beoplay EQ's ... and whether the Beoplay EQ's have the ability to pause the music with transparency active...
The Beoplay EQ does not automatically pause the music when you switch transparency on. You need to separately pause the music (e.g. double tap the right earbuds). Hope this helps.
@@clementlai123 yes, I understood and this is how I proceed but I can't understand why... all other headphones when transperancy is turned on the music is paused... well the sound compensates for the functions...
@@pasko5561 Agreed. I guess people have different preference about this. It would be great if it's customizable. Btw, i noticed that on my EQ (software version 6.1.2), with adaptive ANC off, ANC level 2 cuts out substantially more high frequency noise than level 3. The amount of high frequency noise of level 3 is only similar to level 1. Though level 3 cuts out a little bit more low frequency noise than level 2. Adaptive ANC just sounds like level 3 to me. Anyone else got the same experience?
I don't have 6.1.2 ... I'm with v.5.3.7 ... no matter how hard I tried, I don't have an update ... I wrote to suport, they answered at the end of the month ...
