@@Shanemcm I built a base for it to sit on. wasn't easy if I'm being honest. I'd build a huge platform, on the ground, and go from there. Hope this helps!

@@MrWestTek I think part of the structure needs to be on the ground, that’s just Bethesda. I built a platform with 82 floors stored and it still would not work lol. If you could let me know tho on your first video actually covering the cabin where that was, I’d really appreciate it
I wish you could turn off weapon effects, there is nothing I hate more than being blinded whilst fighting Earl because someone decided to use the auto grenade launcher or one of these.
@@christiandior2695 23k rounds is not much. I don't play that often and mostly just want to hop in to solo rush through expedition or daily ops. This is why i do stockpile every once in a while. I have 500k rounds on my character. Edited: i logged in: ~350k 5.56 for quad HMR and 100k 10mm for SMG. And a hand full of missiles for Two Shot hellstorm and some 40mm and hand grenades, three mini nukes. When i change to heavy build, 5mm weighs nothing. With good inventory management, someone can carry almost a million rounds.
This is one of my favorite guns in the game. Does great damage because of the high fire rate. The ammo is cheap to build because you only need steel and lead. This is a gun anyone from a beginner to veteran can use. I highly recommend for everyone to at least give it a try.😊😊😊
Awesome video MrWestTek, really like these weapon review videos you are doing. If its not on the list already please do one for the Gauss Shotgun... its what im currently using and I like it a bit more than the Guass Mini
I feel like it should be a little more awe inspiring. It takes a grind to get the plan for it and I do like it but I can switch out anytime for gat plas or flamer.
Thanks again for a great video! Having used both the gatling plasma and this bad boy, I prefer the gauss mini simply because the recoil stinks with the plasma on console.
Got the plan from Minerva & built it last week, and will finally have my full health heavy build ready to roll out in 5 or 6 more levels. Keep hearing the Gat Plas is better, but in 130ish levels I've come across maybe a dozen and a half plasma cores total. Isn't that kind of a liability, or is there some killer plasma core farm I just haven't found yet? 🤔
There is no farming plasma cores. But, you can make them yourself. They are under "energy ammo " on the tinker bench. I suggest the cards "ammosmith", "super duper" and the legendary card "ammo factory" to make them. The gatling plasma is a good gun also. Good luck!
@@davidweaver6346 They need a bit of flux, don't they? Violet, if I'm remembering that right? I don't mind the grind & I've already got all the cards (Super Duper & Ammosmith maxed, Ammo Factory at level 2), but I've only ever found decent quantities of yellowcake and fluorescent. Any tips on where the blast zones for violet flux are? Much appreciated, thanks!
The GP is superior in my opinion and better overall. The ammo is easy to make if you follow my guides. The thing with GP ammo is you don't have to craft a lot. For example, crafting 30 Ultracite Cores will last a VERY long time. Using the same amount of materials to craft Ultracite 2mms won't last half as long, not even close. Just try crafting ammo for yourself and you will see :)
I regret wasting my gold bars on the prime, because it cost crimson flux to craft 60 ammo it's hell expensive and crimson flux is hard to get. It only drops from the scortch queen or craft it if you get lucky enough to get glowing fuilds from adds that drop it in nuclear blast area, combine it with raw crimson flux.
Sadly, this weapon doesn't get any damageboost from the Science perks, even tho it's ammo is energy-amo, and especially if you add the Tesla capacitor... which literally makes it do more energy dmg.
That is true. I have a Mutant Slayer's +25% aim damage I use for Eviction Notice. Of my three Gauss mini's its the one I use single barrel. Picking off Super Mutants at distance and high atop rocks made easy👌I did switch to the tri barrel once for comparison sake. It was not optimal for my purposes at EN. Took me around 30 seconds to think "nope, this ain't it."
And a Super Mutant dropped a 3-star Ultracite Gatling Laser at the Eviction Notice event earlier today. Looks like everything's coming up Milhaus right now.
I have to say the gauss mini gun has earned a place in my heart. Sure it goes through ammo like its free and its explosive effect blinds people but it is so much fun and kind of powerful. My junkies ffr is amazing it can both fight every day mobs and boss's if you got the ammo. 😂
it is worth working up to get big time love that blue blasts too perfect for me the second capacitor got it going to work up for it this game is awesomes and do love exotic weaponry is there a Anti-material rifle in this 76 game i hope and love the CAMDEN pack too
@@MrWestTek fingers crossed oh yes that one was truly legendary in New Vegas i love that one i hope they add in character skin too in the atomic shop i used a mod after beating New Vegas on Steam i foudn a Krystal Fox from the Star Fox adventures and Assault games and worked ever so perfectly just astonishing to see Krystal use a true Minigun and Laser plasma Gatlin.
Boss fights. You’d want to shoot continuously rather than reloading every 5 seconds. That’s why I exclusively uses Heavy like Flamer even though my toon is bloodied
@@IMBREISGAU I have a quad handmade, fixer and submachine gun. I do run a non-stealth commando full health build. Basically the middle between heavy and commando with VATS. Heavy weapons are too AP hungry
A fixer may be superior, but the GP will easily get any job the fixer can do done with a little extra time and you're more likely to not die. Heavy guns are tons of fun :)
Prime is always the best option because crafting normal ammo you just wasting RSS and not only that but you get base damage increase and then another 30% on scorched. Another thing is that flux is super easy to get now days.
Great review about the Guass Minigun in Fallout 76. But what about strategy with weapons and knowledge? Are the survivors seeking big time knowledge and technology and radio communication's with other parts of USA even more so than BoS, or even the Enclave? The modern survivors are likely to seek rapid advancements, as much as they seek fancy decorations in their camps. --- Is the Enclave ever going to provide elections to the area? How is the overall situation unfolding about 25 years after the Great Resource War of 2077? --- Is something weird gong on in the Appalachian Region? Like why is there still not any major advancements being made and constant enemies keep coming out from no where? Is the Appalachian region likely a test control region that is being controlled or heavily monitored by a shadowy cabal? Are the survivors likely raising questions? ---- Of course creative pursuits in survival are great, but Fallout 76 should focus on rebuilding freedoms in USA. To help any Fallout game play, it can help to focus on original goals of setting, immersion of the lore, and creative ideas of the survivors, players, creatures, characters, and mysterious background enemies.
It had better recoil than the Gat Plasma so headshots are easier to pull off wich adds a lot of damage. The ammo is the real problem. Shame because it really is one of the most fun weapons to use.
I had a friend trade legacies and God rolls for junk to make ammo for this thing. And in the end he doesn't use it anymore cause he ran out of stuff to trade😂😂😂
You failed to mention that making prime ammo is way more efficient than making normal 2mm, mines general purpose for mobs n scorched beasts, definitely my weapon of choose next to the overkill for mobs
