I'm a right learning libertarian who got back into this political shit a couple years ago and I actually believed he had to be pretty extreme based on everything I had heard. Watched his jre's and I've loved him ever since. He might be the most misrepresented person in all of media.
@@jasonvanepps7061 Same thing here! All I knew about The Proud Boys was what I saw briefly in MSM news article titled. Then I decided to look them up myself, and whaddya know.. the MSM was crock full of shit. Again. I was just taken aback by how viciously they've been attacked, and lied about. But they shall keep on, cuz the West is the Best baby 🇺🇸🤘🏽
They have to lie about him because they're afraid of him. They know that if he isn't ostracized and deplatformed, people will hear his message, and if they hear him, they will relate to him, and they can't allow that.
He finds himself where he is for the same reason Milo does. Testimony to that can be found in this interview where he brags about how degenerate he is. Its not that the left hates him more, its that the left knows that the right won't save him.
Make sure you give your hard earned money to Gavins many go fund me’s so he can maintain his 2.3 million dollar home. His life is in ruins from censorship. I mean sure many proud boys are wasting away in cells as Gavin disavowed them and did nothing to help them. What a great guy.
@@hypefree6832 He did not disavow the proud boys, he stepped back because in taking himself out of the equation he made it harder for the authorities to frame them as a criminal gang. What should Gavin do? Throw his hard earned money out of the window and move into a cardboard box with his family. Are you a fucking communist?
sluntmania I see the point you are getting at. If Gavin thinks diversity is a strength in our society, why is he also so against it? The thing is, the diversity Gavin values is that of intellectualism, not skin color. Forcing a culture to have different skin colors to check off some virtuous box is frivolous. However, having a culture that checks and challenges itself on ideology is valuable. And that has very little to do with skin color.
One of the best decisions in my life? Sitting in Germany, began a job at a canadian company 10 years ago...was forced to learn a little bit English...and now being able to watch Gavin McGuinnes, drinking a lot of beers, understand nearly 80% and it is still enough to laugh a lot and forget all the insane things happening not just in Germany...
I always forget that Gavin is a journalist but listen to the first 2 minutes of this interview. Even if you're not a fan of his that is a textbook example of how to take control of an interview.
Ted owns and manages networks, so he's a businessman Gavin started and wrote for a journal, so he's a journalist I can't believe how stupid people are nowadays.
@@Shakenmike117 That makes him an entrepreneur. When he actually wrote for vice, sure, you could say he was a journalist perhaps. But definitely not now
The funny thing is that was actually one of his more profound statements. I have noticed this over the years as well. On the RARE occasion that an attractive woman is also smart and has a work ethic, I have found SOMETHING in her history that defines her personality. For some, they were ugly ducklings growing up and then when they got older they grew into their weird ears or their acne went away or they filled out. Or she was the oldest child and had to pitch in with her siblings and take on adult responsibilities. SOMETHING happened that made it so she wasn't simply catered to because of her looks.
GreedAndSelfishness it isn’t even the pretty person’s fault too, its everyone else who treats them differently and that’s what affects their personality. Humans like beautiful things, its why we have Art, the design of the iPhone etc
@@timv1.082 I've seen it several times. Some small town girls or late bloomers are sheltered from constant male attention long enough to develop a great personality and work ethic. My wife was a skinny basketball player with braces when she was in high school. I saw pictures of her back then and she was not particularly attractive at all. She wore baggy jeans and loose tee shirts (practically dressed like a tom boy). By her twenties she had perfect teeth, gained 15lbs of muscle (mostly in her legs and a NICE round ass) and started wearing make up. She is clearly a solid 8 or higher but she still acts like she does not realize she is hot. Of course one small downside to this is that she also doesn't know how to act sexy in the bedroom, hahaha she tries and it comes off as awkward and robotic.
I really don’t get how anyone can not like Gavin. He’s always absurdly on point with a glint of the ghost of Gonzo circa 72. Always hilariously enthusiastic. Satirical Cynical social commentary Gavin your a genuine thought originator dude . Keep it up
@@jeremyv4636 I'd say less so, if you're not getting a response, it doesn't immediately need to be anger, just SOMETHING, you're not doing something right. Anger is easy, introspection is harder but more valuable.
I Want To Survive dude I have perfected my Uncle Tony impression this week since hearing and howling at Ryan and Gavin riffing with it manymany binged videos ago. Proper stuck with me
That is just it. He is a regular guy that isn’t radical and he has influence because he is likable and funny. His history as a publisher scares the regressives that he can spread a message that is not theirs.
Because, without monsters in the closet, the far left's outrage machine grinds to a halt. Where there are none, they are invented. The dominant cultural forces on that end of the spectrum run on hate, fear and, of course, projection. The more a cartoon villain they can make people like Gavin seem, the better.
@Evo Shift b.s. Rogan is just doing his own thing, even if i don't agree with him sometimes it doesn't make him a "shill". that's so dumb, he has his own wealth, status, everything. why would he bother being a shill for anything? not everyone who sees things differently is corrupt.

Same. WASP here, grew up in SoCal. In my early childhood I got to experience what it was like to grow up in an ethnically homogeneous community but it was destroyed by mass immigration in the 90s.
@Human Resources yep its what i call we dont all brake the same some get stronger and some get weaker and the weak ones will not admit they are weak or that we all brake or broken so if you drop a glass cup it brakes and never brakes the same so some broken pieces are usefull but some broken pieces are just need to be toughed up like sand paper
so women, gays, and minorities have comparatively more idyllic and un-burdensome upbringings than their white male counterparts? you bugged if you really think that

I have been conservative since I started caring about politics but my parents divorced before I started caring about politics.....I never put that together but seeing alot of other people the same way it might have been a subconscious reason 🤔🤔🤔🤔
@snunkus snunkus I was always right wing curious and knew that the political left was garbage but i don't think i was even seeking a coherent worldview until after my dad was gone. 32 is a great age to finally become a man, i suppose.
The wisdom of traditions is bigger than life. When you see how insignificant one person's life is and how easily it can end, you start to look at things that are bigger than your life.
I think if you've got the foundation that resilience and keeping your shit together is something to strive for, things like burying your parents tempers you. Otherwise? Well...My siblings fell to pieces. I went on to join the Navy, my brother became a communist.
salazam It is. It’s an old personal anecdote. It’s as boring as shit gets if it’s not YOUR Thing at that GIVEN moment. You’re just stating the obvious. It’s as boring as watching asphalt be there. The sad part is YOU are Soooooo fckn bored you had time in your life to share this with us. May I recommend « 12 Rules for Life », an enlightening book by Prof. Jordan Peterson.
My friend from college's dad was a super amazing heart surgeon, a great man from what I have heard in pretty much every way. In my friend's Freshman year at college, his father had a heart attack when only he and my friend were in the house (they live in a rural area so it took a while for first responders) My friend did everything he had learned to try and save his own father, using CPR and all, but before his eyes he was unable to save his father and at a relatively young age (his father was about 60) his father and his hero who taught him all he ever knew passed away before his eyes. My friend had to now take care of his family himself (he said his mother is incompetent) and had to help out his younger siblings, He takes care of their house's property, he handles the finances and everything. My friend is very conservative now. He had no choice but to get involved with huge responsibilities, he couldn't sit there and avoid conflict for the rest of his life. I think its very true, a lot of conservatives have things like this happen at a younger age: they find themselves with responsibility that their liberal counterparts would never imagine having.
Broomtwo but then the other side I grew up in a rougher neighborhood in Boston and most of the people I’ve known have been products of single parent households that struggled with crime and drugs and most of them turned into raging leftist I think experience has a lot to do with it but maybe environment has a lot to do with it .. I don’t think there’s one size fits all to who becomes a conservative
you here the libertarian and right group refer to the left often as "childless weirdos" and it's true. alot of the left have no kids, they don't own anything, they have no skin in the game. for them it's get in, get what you can, and get out because they literally have no one to care about besides themselves.
My dad was the biggest political influence in my life. He survived me through the hippie era, shook his head a lot but finally got me to see the light. He passed away in 94 but I passed it on to my kids.
It really is funny. The more radical and unhinged the DNC and media get as they drive further and further to the Left the more they screech that everyone else is being "radicalized".
@@RyanCreatesThings I would say that has more to do with the attitude that older (more fundamentalist christian) conservatives tend to have towards gays. They tend to be openly hostile towards gays and tell them that they're horrible sinners who are going to Hell unless they repent and give up their gay lifestyle. They also make it very clear that you "cannot be gay and christian" and that often gets misconstrued (probably thanks to marxist indoctrination) into, "you cannot be conservative and gay." So in other words, I think we'd have far more gays on our side if we would stop demonizing them for their sexual orientation/lifestyle. Sorry if that came off as aggressive. It was meant more as an explanation rather than an attack. But text doesn't convey that well.
Aaron Ankrim El I became conservative ish by watching the young Turks from when I was in highschool I was 18 when I started to disagree with them on a lot of things.
@Drum Machine Bear in context the question made sense. I was wondering the same, we were talking about both, being conservative and being gay. This wasn't a cheap shot, just a cheeky question.
You ain't lying, I was looking through my subscriptions and seen this channel and jumped on it, hoping for an abundance of missed videos. That's wasn't the case 😔
Must-see YT video. I hope Gavin is given justice. I will pray for you and yours. Please pray for me. American-style Constitutional free speech needs to be protected and upheld in America, and it needs to spread across all lands.
@@matthewwayneleber I had a friend who loves Bernie and he would tell me about all of Bernie's political views, like $15 an hour minimum wage and free college and I think stuff like that really sounds nice to people who are uneducated when it comes to politics like I was at the time.
I was a Bernie supporter as well and even went so far as to actively campaign for him in my city. That is my shame, more of my shame than being a recovering addict.
Lots of us in Gavin's age bracket (I'm 52) who 20/30/40 years ago were anarchists, free festival, ravers, psychedelic adventurers, anti establishment who back then would have been thought of as going onto being rabid socialist and justice warriors. Lots of us (and I am typing this sat in my car in the English Midlands) have actually in our 40s and 50s become really right leaning. Now I know it's a well known urban myth that we all get right wing as we get older but to my observation it's something more vital and urgent than that. I never expected to feel and occupy the political ground I now clearly and comfortably occupy. It becomes more and more abundantly clear that our grandfather's/fathers were actually right (as in correct) and it's also abundantly clear that our grandfather's would weep and spit on us for what we have done with the various gifts they bequeathed to us.
@myboythom I've heard it said that if you're not liberal when you're younger, you're heartless; if you're not conservative when you're older, you're brainless.
@@SteveSmith-fh6br I'm not left. I have some economically "left" views though, but that doesn't make me left. You have the boomer misconception of political views, I am more right wing than anyone here. A true right-winger is one of order, of tradition and religion. Free market materialists are leftist-minded trash, you are the other side of the coin from communism. The boomers had the privilege of growing up in a world of constant economic growth, they drove up the debt of Western countries by living large and now the paycheck is left for us to pay.

When i lived on longisland for a few years, that little block was utopia. All blue collar self made people who worked to get where they are. All sorts of people. About 6 of the families around me were prqctically just one big family. We spent most of our free time together and took care of eachother. Went on trips, out for meals. It was great.
The definition of a real man. He admits his mistakes, reflects on his experiences, doesn’t back down from his stand unless he sincerely means it, believes in what’s right & backs up his word w/ action. Not all millennials are brainwashed & I hope some of the younger gentlemen watching this video take note from a man who has no apologies for who he is and what he stands for. I’ve been called an anti-feminist (lol I’ll take that as a compliment), old-fashioned & “weak” because I value men for who they are rather than expecting them to be anything but themselves. So much love for you Gavin, keep fighting. Thanks for posting this.
How so? He complains about white genocide but marries and has kids with a non white women. He talks shit about the way people dress but has a bunch of tatts and looks like a homeless hipster. I really don't get all these beta males that worship him.

I would argue that the reason that people are scared to let their kids outside is because news is so easily accessible at any time. My parents grew up in the 80s and never heard of what Ted Bundy was doing at the time. I see a lot of what is happening in the world just by being on the internet 24/7
Proud Boys 4 Days 4 Life............Gavin creates art, and brings out the good in men. I will always have his back, and I believe he will always have mine. He is a man among men.
That beginning bit about traumatic events create conservatives is totally true. 5-6 years ago my mom smashed her own face onto parking lot pavement right in front of my brother and i, and tried to blame it on my father. Haven't willingly spoken to her since. I got interested in Trump and politics shortly after.
A) you can’t make a psychoanalysis of a giant group of people making up a large chunk of the world. They’re not a hive mind. B) Freud is the most contentious figure in psychology and has (despite adding a great deal to the field) been widely debunked.
"Play it through" is so true that thought process is what helped me the most get over my addictions. 5 yrs clean now! I'm a conservative millennial grew up in the country working on my buddy's farm.
My parents got divirced when I was 11and it was 100% my mom. My dad fought really hard to try and keep it together but she wasn't having it, and it kinda broke him for like 5 years. And Gavin's right it makes me terrified of having kids because my dad would see us maybe once a month and it's shitty.
This was a great interview. Gavin is a very interesting guy. I really hope he clears his name of this bullshit. The right needs to make more room for him. He connects with young men in a positive way. He could be a bit more responsible with his words sometimes, but we all shouldn’t have to be so scared of saying something wrong either.

All you have to do is listen to Gavin talk for 30 seconds (and be a semi-sane person) to realize what a logical, rational and great guy he is. Which goes to show just how fucking ridiculous it is that he is demonized. He's someone you wanna drink a beer with. He's a big part of the new counter-culture. Gavin is fucking cool.
