I mean we take social media for granted. The world is much much better now than it was say 30 years ago. We have all the knowledge of the world literally in our pockets. Social media have made it possible to have a conversation with people all across the world. The only reason people do not like it is because these public conversations are now heard by millions of people. So to say social media are the reason the world is worse is really naive. The shirt was a polo that Fred Perry makes. Many different groups in the UK have worn them, including the "Yardies" or Jamaicans, that were immigrating to the UK. Which the Yardies were the first Skinheads, which spread throughout the UK and became super popular among the Mods, Skinheads, and all of the various Punk groups. They all wore Fred Perry polo shirts, even in other nations where Punk groups are, they adopted the Fred Perry polo.
