Des véhicules blindés traversent la commune de Gavray dans la Manche : chars M4 Sherman, M10 Tank Destroyer, half-track M3. Sur l'un des véhicules se dresse le bouillant général Joseph "Lightning Joe" Lawton Collins, commandant le VII Corps américain, qui assiste à la construction par des sapeurs d'un pont Bailey au-dessus de la rivière de La Sienne. Dans la région, des colonnes de soldats allemands sont conduits vers un camp de prisonniers.
Armored vehicles pass through the town of Gavray, Manche department: M4 Sherman tanks, M10 Tank Destroyer, M3 half-tracks. On one of the vehicles stands Major General Joseph "Lightning Joe" Collins Lawton, commanding the US VII Corps, who attends the construction of a Bailey bridge over the river La Sienne by engineers. In the region, columns of German soldiers are driven to a prison camp.
