Pwede ka ring gumamit ng bigas tapos ilagay mo sa blender para maging rice flour. Hindi ko pa sya nagagawa. Hindi pa ako naga substitute ng ingredients kasi maiiba ang texture at lasa.

Can I wrap it in foil instead of banana leaves or just steam it in a baking pan without wrapping. Maybe faster procedure without wrapping and just steam it in baking pan. No time to wrap
Do not use foil. Use baking paper instead. I have used Baking Paper once, ok lang sya. But missing the aroma of the banana leaves. Baking Paper or Parchment paper helps esp banana leaves here in Australia costs a fortune 😉
Kung nasa overseas ang location mo, you can buy the frozen one from the Filipino shop, usually boiled na iyon…. Kung located ka sa Pilipinas, you can use the fresh hinog na saba
Yes you can use Glutinous Rice too. Actually I made suman saba today as requested by my son. I was thinking of using Glutinous Rice Flour, pero hindi ko naman itinuloy. I just used Rice Flour pa rin.
Kapag all purpose flour ang gamit mo, parang magiging banana bread lang ang product niya… We use Rice Flour because we are trying to have a “Suman” outcome.
Yung nabibili namin dito sa overseas na saba is boiled and frozen. Pero sa Pilipinas, hindi na sya nilalaga. Fresh saba ang ginagamit sa pag gawa ng Suman Dinumugan

Hi, usually yung left over eh nilalagay namin sa fridge hanggang 3 days. Pag gusto namin kumain ulit, nirere-heat na lang namin sa microwave or steam ulit namin. Sa sobrang sarap niya eh hindi na umaabot ng 3 days. Ubos agad.

Instead of steaming the banana wrapped mixture, you can grill them using charcoal over an improvised flat sheet gutter✅🇵🇭. In Pangasinan, they use a 🇵🇭manufactured griller using gas stove instead of charcoal-fed griller ✅👍. Filipino🇵🇭 innovation 🌈❤️🙏👍‼️
Opo, from Mangaldan Pangasinan po ako kung saan po napakaraming Tupig. Isa po yan sa isa ko gagawin na video. Meron na po akong ingredients. Naga hintay lang po ako ng Spring time para po magsibol mga dahon ng banana plant ko. Kasi po katatapos lang po ng winter naman. Wala pong dahon yung saging namin.
