Hi, I googled Azusa Street Revival. Their teachings were repentance, holiness, study the scriptures and the baptism in the Holy Spirit. It gave the spiritual benefits of personal prayer. They were so committed to Truth and holiness. Their faith took them to being a missionary with no financial support. They knew how to rely on God to meet every need. It is a remarkable read. I believe that demons have had more attention than the church. No more!!! I believe God is raising up an army of believers that will be what God designed the church to do. We will tread on scorpions and serpents with Holy Spirit power and authority. Revival will only happen in pockets of places. Pray for the laborers to go to the ripe harvest. Pray they are separated from the world and unto winning and discipleing new believers. Pray for Christians to be effective as those in the book of acts. It isn't a work for apostles or prophets but for those who love God and walk in holiness.

The church, generally speaking, has become a pathetic organization and is no longer the house of God. Whole branches of churches, such as Episcopalian and Methodist, are welcoming homosexuals to hell by telling them that their lifestyle is ok with God. It is so sad. It takes some mental gymnastics to claim that God does not think that homosexuality is a sin. This is just one example of false teaching...there are so many more. Churches have turned into big entertainment venues and only teach what people want to hear about God, while avoiding the full truth that may make people uncomfortable. Gay people have fallen into a dire trap of making everything about their sexuality to a point where it is all about simply hearing what they want to hear. The whole world is going in the direction of saying what the homosexuals want. They do not seek truth, they only seek a lie.

Ms. Juanita Bynum communicated this same idea: there is a version of him that will only be materialized or experienced after he has an encounter with God. Suggesting that she affirmed a life of sin when she did not do any such thing is inaccurate and irresponsible. In all actuality, she graciously and lovingly rebuked/“reproved” him.
