I was at a church service back in 2003. I was a lead singer on our praise team. The visiting Pastor, who also was the speaker finished the sermon and had an alter call. I never made eye contact but he called me out. He prophesied to me and told me if I didn't stop doing what I was doing that God's wrath would fall on me. He and his wife took me to the side and GOD showed him my sins and he told me everything I was doing. I'm a very private person and I didn't have many friends and didn't tell anyone my business. He told me that God was tired of my ways and I will die if i didn't repent and stop sinning. He saved my life. His obedience to God saved my life. That was not a peaches n' cream and prosperity prophesy. That was the truth from God. I walked out of that church delivered, truly saved and a new person.
Amen!! To God be the glory who reveals the secrets of the heart. The gifts are real.. and I have been on the receiving end as well. But the Author of this channel will never acknowledge it.
Yes! Real prophecy of your Father God coming down and letting you know how much he loves you and he chases after those he loves. He corrects those he loves. I'm so happy that you accepted it and changed. May God continue to bless you as you grow in the Lord.
What I heard in the 1st 5 minutes was division and distain. There are imposters in every facet of religion but a spirit of discernment would take care of that. God is not a God of confusion and he is not anywhere in this mess.
Remember, Satan is very clever, and if Satan knows your life, he definitely can tail people who work in a realm of his in the church. He is very clever, and he has been around for a very long time, deceiving people and working against God. Remember daemonic people tell peoples futures as well. There is more happening in the spiritual realm then the natural.
There is a difference between condemnation and conviction. Condemnation drags you down and makes you less then leaving you in depression. Conviction brings you to repentance then lifts you up
The power of the Holy Spirit is real. The giftings are real. We need to pray for discernment before we go and call ppl false preachers. Smart Christians channel, what is the intent behind this video. Not everyone who lays hands and prophecies is full of it. I can testify to that. At the end of the day, we will know them by their fruit. If you are in your word and spending time with the Father then He will reveal things to you and you will know who you should and shouldn’t be listening to. One of my favorite preachers, who has gone to be with the Lord, is Adrian Rogers. He preached the gospel with power and authority and without holding anything back. We need more pastors like him today.
Wow, now he is a blast from the past. Died 2005, one of best. Love his teaching/semons. Definitely blessed me in the beginning of my walk with the Lord in the late 90's.

I used to listen to Matthew Stephenson in the past. The more I listen to him the more I realize he was mean and very feminine. Always found it weird that he wore his clothes way too tight. And as I started researching him I realized that many men have come out to say they have slept with him. There are people who have left his cultish like church and have shared their stories of how they're pretty money hungry and status driven. I believe he's a false teacher. A lot of these people are just so narcissistic to me. I hope to God he gets his act together and truly surrenders to the Lord if he hasn't. Let the wheat and the weed grow together.

Cory, the reason why the Charismatic movement with the likes of Benny Hinn, Copeland, etc got so huge during the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, was because there was no one reproving and exposing them from their inception. What you are doing today, is preventing the new ones from taking root and getting too big deceiving masses. Keep up the work of lovingly and graciously, respectfully and politely discussing their errors, your warnings and corrections is helping prevent many from taking the bait and delivering many already hooked. Don't stop, this type of discourse is needed. Souls are too precious to our Savior JESUS. The body of Christ cannot afford another half a century of false teaching, doctrine and prophecy leading many astray.

You know what …have any of you been to a Benny Hinn crusade or the others you mentioned. You like to sit back in your darkness and murder people verbally but Benny Hinn was not fake. My sister had a deadly disease and he called her out of thousands in the audience. Laid hands on her and prayed and she was healed. It has never come back. She is healed to this day. So keep your mouth off things you don’t know anything about!
With every teaching, you have to expose, as well as, oppose the false teaching that comes behind it. If you're using the Word of God and using it properly then you have to show when it's being mishandled and misappropriated. Thank you for teaching in context and allowing the Word to speak for itself. Bad hermeneutics, apologetics and horrendous theology plague the black church especially!! Thank you for being sound Cory. I’ve attended many black churches in the past because I was under an allusion that only a black church would be a real Christian church. I actually believed that white people could not possibly have that close a connection to GOD as our black folks could. BOY, WAS I WRONG!! As I surrender, pray, study and learn. My heart weeps for our black folks. I pray for GODS MERCY for all churches leading the masses astray.
Years before I had my rebirth what I thought about was I don’t want to go to hell but I hope that I would change my ways before it’s to late. I continue in my unrighteousness for many years, but one day almost 5 years ago God lead me to walk in righteousness. I’m more focused on loving God Almighty by walking in the path of righteousness, than to walk in unrighteousness.

The three prominent topics in Jesus's teachings were (1) the reality of the kingdom of God, (2) living in the kingdom of God, and (3) the Lord of the kingdom of God.

When I was approximately 19/20 back in 2003 or 2004, he was probably 18. He visited my former church (South Africa 🇿🇦) and was given the platform to preach. He came with John Eckhardt who ordained him part of the Impact Network which was a hyper Charismatic Movement and still is today. He shared about his background which was very sad and scandalous but I won’t go there. Now that I know the truth about the biblical gospel and salvation, I do recall him preaching blasphemous and false teachings. I am amazed how much worldly success he has amassed over the years through false teachings and doctrines of demons. I pray he will obtain salvation one day and his household and the many people he has deceived. God have mercy.

Well my voice is naturally soft and I guess that means I'm not saved. I personally was into the homosexual lifestyle since age 5. I repented of those sins along with witchcraft. But apparently because I still have feminine mannerisms and voice that disqualifies me from receiving salvation. I can't change my voice. Glad I ran into this channel because I wouldn't have known. I'm not glad that I'm going to hell but glad that I know the truth. Some people are just meant for the flames of hell.

I hope you see this sir. Allegations aside, I completely disagree with your position on his teaching. ESPECIALLY the part about hell. You missed his whole point and to refute his point you included a scripture that predated the RESURRECTION of Jesus. Once Jesus died and rose from the grave he had power and dominion over death, hell, and the grave. So yes we should preach Jesus and relationship rather than fear of going to hell because if we don’t teach Jesus properly people will still end up in hell right from the church
Blessings. I wanted to ask, if God never intended to bless Saul (I believe you stated that) then was what Samuel said to Israel in 1 Samuel 12:13-15 futile? Did God harden Saul like he did Pharaoh to the end that David would reign? If it was evil for Israel to ask of God a king (1 Sam. 12:19) when the Lord was their king then why would David’s obedience have been any better than Saul’s if Saul would’ve been obedient? I’m just saying I don’t see how Stevenson’s “would’ve” statement was Off around minute 44. Thanks.
