Lol it’s in the American genes to abandon their parents and completely goes to becoming strangers . I feel like every single one Americans I’ve met AND heard about does that , they grew up , and just sh**t on their parents over the stupidest of stuff and just disappear. There is still abandonment cases , but usually people can understand why , like sexual assault , really abusive household , or just straight up mental torture , but it’s not as bad as in the US where it just snap like that , even sometime you guys doing it because it’s the cool thing to do since “living with your parent” seems to be an insult nowadays in the US standard ?
