Gaza is ‘humanitarian hellscape’, says UN as Israeli strikes continue

Israelis are now expecting their government's latest military action against Iran to be after next week's Jewish Festival of Passover. There are also growing signs that Benjamin Netanyahu will press ahead with - as he sees it - 'finishing the job' against Hamas in the southern Gaza city of Rafah. There have been more Israeli attacks on Gaza today which the UN Secretary General described today as a "humanitarian hellscape".
There are developments too on Iran, but today American and Israeli officials are reported to have held high level talks amid suggestions that "limited and narrow" action against Iran is Israel's price for acceptance in Washington that they will go into Rafah.
A warning that there are extremely distressing images from the start of this report.

They feel bodily pain as we do too. When they are injured, trapped under rumble, having operations without adequate medications. They feel hunger and thirst as we do. They bleed like to do, their bones break as ours do. Their pain is no different to any pain we would feel in their horrific situation. Only at the end of it all they wont recieve therapy to combat their mental suffering. There will understandably be hatred, anger, rage at those whom harmed them and killed those they love. You can imagine what will lead to. Which is exactly why this attempt to destroy hamas will not bring long term peace in the years ahead.

The drone that launched that rocket most likely sported a hi res camera. They knew exactly what they targeted. If Iran is the only country with the spine to stand up to this, then so be it. People need to really understand that these kinds of strikes don't "just happen". They knew exactly where that rocket was going to hit and they watched on their little screens wherever their command and control center is located, sipping coffee and eating candy most likely.
