Love the gazelle! Aren’t they supposed to have a single rotor forward and two split over the tail so the startup exhaust gas is not blowing on to the rotor when still?
Love helicopters, love the Gazelle, love the AAC, but one of the most stupid things I have ever seen in terms of proximity of civilian onlookers and a single engine helicopter taking off. Potential for carnage there was massive. Extraordinary.
Exactly! They should have been made land in the next town! Who on earth organises these airshows where the public can get up close and enjoy something that they would never otherwise see.Outrageous!
UNBELIEVABLE UNSAFE, I CAN'T COMPREHEND HOW COME THEY ALLOW THAT INCREDIBLE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE SOOOOO!!! CLOSE TO A HELICOPTER, VERY IRRESPONSIBLY. WOULDN'T HAPPEN IN THE USA.
You all need to calm down ,this is the R.A.F in Ireland they land in the outskirts of towns and villages all the time with the fight with the I.R.A .There not some kind of crop dusters from the U.S.A
Yeoo well i hardly think it landed there uninvited, the good people of the free state wanted it there as part of the airshow, and rightly so, not even getting into a debate with you jog on
Think you need to get your facts right they do not land anywhere in Ireland as it has its own defence force, search and rescue is still allowed if requested, and no war has gone on with the IRA for years, the ira sure sit on the policing board with muchelle and gerry think they realised they were acting the goat for too long 😂😂
The sound of this helicopter has to be the most irritating horrible yuck sound I've ever heard. What an awful sounding aircraft... By the way everyone. It was designed this way... For sound disorientation due to it being a scout helicopter and flying really low around treetops etc. It's sound was it's best defender... Similar to how a fighter jets have the same ability...
