BRAND OVERVIEW
Gazian & Girling was founded in 2006 by Tony Gaziano & Dean Girling. Tony and Dean worked for a variety of bespoke shoemakers, designers and Northampton manufacturers before joining together to launch their own line. Their aim was to update the otherwise classic English aesthetic and to bring an unprecedented level of handwork to their Benchmade shoes. The whole key was to try to narrow the gap between bespoke and RTW. No other shoe on the market tries to incorporate so many levels of bespoke craftsmanship and finishing into their ready-to-wear offering.
SHOE INTRODUCTION
A captoe oxford, especially a black captoe oxford, is the most versatile and elegant shoe a man can own. It’s a simple design, lack of brouging, and closed oxford lacing, combine to create the silhouette that unparalleled beauty. This shoe is not subject to the whims of fashion; it will be in style forever. It can be easily worn with a suit, tuxedo, or jeans, and is never inappropriate.
DESIGN
Immediately, Tony Gaziano’s shoe designing brilliance is instantly recognizable in this shoe. Every aspect of design - proportion, lines, shape - has been perfectly balanced. Combined with the construction and quality of materials, which we will talk about later in greater detail, you can’t help but desire these shoes.
MATERIAL
G&G's desire to bridge the gap between traditional ready-to-wear and bespoke is also seen in the choice of materials used to make their shoes. Baker’s oak-bark tanned leather outsoles and heels are used, and the heels are built up layer by layer and then shaped to produce a beautiful narrowing. Again, the same materials used in their bespoke shoes.

G&G also offers an extensive made to order program. you can choose from 7 last shapes, over 120 different styles of shoe, 100 different leather choices, this makes for thousands of combinations of shoes that you can customize to your own personal taste.
AVAILABLE SIZES AND FIT
The Gaziano and Girling Oxfords are available stock from a UK Size 5 to UK Size 13 and in an E width. UK sizes are a half-size smaller than the equivalent US shoe size. So, if you are a 9.5 in an American shoe, such as Allen Edmonds, you would want to purchase a UK 9.0. The same is true for widths. A UK E width is equivalent to a standard US D. However, the shoe can be ordered in a narrow D width or wide F width at no extra charge.
