SICK was talking about this on his recent show. Said what if the move to have Ubisoft “independently manage” all Microsoft’s cloud services in Europe (or whatever the EXACT NATURE of that deal was, because I don’t care enough to look it up since I couldn’t GAF less about cloud gaming) was part of the plan ALL ALONG and if Ubisoft ends up moving BACK to being a “privately-held” company, it potentially makes it EASIER (and SIGNIFICANTLY CHEAPER) because THEN the ONLY PEOPLE you need to get “the blessing from” is the Yves Guillemont family (or whoever the French family is that owns the “majority stake” in Ubisoft).
Never understood why people take plastic boxes seriously....I mean I used to argue back in the PS3 and Xbox 360 days. Now at 37 the shit is stupid on both ends!!
Phils a smart man jez hes trying to turn ur philness into a positive with the Japanese 😂 i bet ps send him so much free stuff, hes indirectly helped them sell over 100m consoles
Folks want well optimised quality software (games), and are willing to pay for it. It just doesn't exist anymore; instead we are being sold the idea of quality, which does not reflect reality.
@@compostsmurf5519 This. I feel like this IDEA of “everything HAS TO BE 60FPS” is just a popular internet talking point; the AVERAGE INDIVIDUAL that buys these consoles “en masse” isn’t even CONSCIOUSLY AWARE of what a “framerate” is (they just know they like COD because it FEELS “snappier” and “more responsive” and “just RIGHT” like the third bowl of porridge in Goldilocks, when compared to OTHER SHOOTERS). Or at least that’s HOW I FEEL because I’m just like, “I enjoyed games JUST FINE for 30+ years WITHOUT KNOWING what EVERYTHING’S framerate and native resolution WAS.”
@@compostsmurf5519 I mean, I did too. I knew what a “framerate” was going back to the PS1 but similarly, it’s NEVER stopped me from otherwise enjoying a game (unless it was like REALLY sluggish and unresponsive to the point of feeling barely playable like how Goldeneye could get down to the SINGLE DIGITS when you had A LOT of explosions happening AT ONCE).
All i can say is if you actually went out and bought an Xbox series console this gen and thats all you have, i feel sorry for you lmao. You wasted $ 500 or $ 300 dollars on that piece of shit console. Like dam so many games skipping that platform. This is so funny.
I'll be honest, PS2 was probably my least favorite PlayStation generation. I know it had a lot of games, but between the OG Xbox and Gamecube, I thought those platforms delivered a better experience. Plus I was really into PC games back then, when PC actually had a lot of great exclusives.
