GBO2: Delta Kai, Arctic Base 

DELTA KAI RETURNS TO THE CHANNEL WITH VENGEANCE! I am known to main this suit for a long time, The chad of 650 has returned with a new coat of paint.
This suit is over a year old now, introduced in 2022 with the new map trenches. Its a popular suit, and many rolled for it when it first dropped. Its kit was also pretty interesting. It's the only suit with shotgun funnels, these funnels launch and fire x3 times before returning to your suit. It has a HMC on the shield that can heavy stun, the shield cannon can rapid fire for decent build stun, or full charge for a single stun. Your Beam rifle hits pretty good as well and your vulcans are good for cleaning up suits. In waverider you can use your Beam Rifle like usual, a head beam cannon that can rapid fire with okay stun build, or full charge for a stun with piercing. Your HMC can be used as well for a hard hitting shot that also pierces in flight mode. Your waverider got a 200% stun resist, meaning you cant just be shot out of the sky, or quickly built stunned out of the sky. The enemy HAD to heavy stun you, or most had to focus on you. You also had a good thruster gauge as well, making WR really annoying.
The suit also gets a buff when under 50% HP called n_i_t_r_o In n_i_t_r_o everything reloaded and focused faster, literally everything. You also gain a speed buff and your thrust usage becomes more efficient. Your funnel lock on range increases 50m as well when its triggered, and fire x5 times instead of x3 times. n_i_t_r_o makes the suit become way more annoying to deal with for the enemy, as you get a few buffs.
As time went on, and more and more suits were introduced. Delta Kai went from a good/okay suit, to mid, to borderline bad. Mostly because of its lack luster MS Mode, the suit relied too much on Waverider/MA. And with introduction of stronger MS that had much stronger build stun like Zwei and ReZEL C-Type. Some can really shred its HP away like SBS, shattering your legs while it was at it. It got to the point that it was pain to play Delta Kai, and for a 4* MS this wasn't good.
It wouldn't be till 2024 after being introduced for over a year did it get much needed buffs. Emergency Evasion went from lvl 1 to lvl 2, Psycommu Weapon buffer went from lvl 1 to lvl 2. Its LMB reload went from 15 seconds to 12 seconds. Its head beam cannon Heat Rate went from 13% to 12%, Cool down went from 1 second to 0.5, Focus went from 3.5 to 2.5, Stagger accumulation was increased, Focus Fire power was increased (focused shot.) The Funnels power went from 300 to 325, Lock on range increased from 200m to 250m (from 250m to 300m In N.I.T.R.O.) the Recoil was reduced (its shotgun spread), and its power increased with recoil decreasing again in n_i_t_r_o Your n_i_t_r_o ability boost was also strengthened, Focus time reduction for ranged weapons increased from 30% to 50% (much faster focus and lock on times now.) And reload/OH times reduced from 30% to 50%.
These changes made Delta Kai's MS mode WAY more usable. Your funnels are way more reliable, you dont need to get so close to the enemy anymore to use them. your weapons in general can fire more often, Hit harder, and dont take as long to cool down as before. n_i_t_r_o is way more cracked now, as you are now reloading way faster to the point that your BR reloads faster then the cool down time after firing. Which is funny. Your funnels are ready almost all the time now, Everything feels good about this suit after the buffs. BB even said that the core issue with the MS was its MS mode, it was lacking. thes buffs changed that. Delta Kai is meta now, and can carry once again.
Overall, Delta Kai is a really solid MS, but it has a moderate skill ceiling. Positioning in this suit is VERY important. You don't get a whole lot of melee defense, and if unlucky a support can rip your HP and break your legs in the process. If you are used to playing WaveRider's then you probably will be fine, I played ReZEL (buffs pls.) & C1 level 2 A lot before Delta Kai dropped. DELTA KAI IS BACK BOYS AND GALS!
In these fights you don't see me focus on flying as much as I used too. Since MS mode is usable now its okay to use MS mode a little more, as you wait for your stuff to cool down. n_i_t_r_o is cracked now, seriously, Its cracked as fuck. The reload speed is so fast is crazy lol. The second fight was a headache, I didn't think we were gonna win that but I was proven wrong. the headache I have from that match...
