This video contains two matches I had with the recently buffed Moon Gundam on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 700 cost general with multiple instant stuns, great stagger accumulation, a stun nullifying barrier with short cooldown, extremely high damage Psycho Plates alongside a 50% HP activation power-up that significantly increases mobility. Its number one weakness is that it has lackluster midrange shooting compared to basically every other 700 general. This suit was buffed at the end of March with +1500 HP, LV3 Leg Buffer, LV3 Forced Injector, one additional shot per beam shotgun blast alongside it being easier to connect with, 40% stagger value for the underbarrel grenade launcher, +150 beam tomahawk power alongside 70% combo modifier, 7% vulcan stagger value, +250 power per butterfly edge alongside 8 second reload time, a reduced time for the Psycho Plates to launch after firing and 16 seconds reload for the defensive Psycho Plates. These are some seriously impactful buffs, its close range combat abilities are basically the best at cost now. I hope that you enjoy watching!
The primary weapon of the Moon Gundam is a beam shot rifle with 400x7 (2650) power, 75% (80%) heat, 3.5 seconds cooldown, 18 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 175m (400m) range, 2 seconds focus time and 25%x7 (60%) stagger value. The uncharged mode fires a shotgun blast that is really reliable to stun with at close range, charged shots focus quickly and instant stagger.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam tomahawk with 3050 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time, 70% combo modifier and 140% downswing modifier. This weapon can deal high damage in two swing combos, but it is best used to knock enemies over so you can then use your Psycho Plates.
Its first sub weapon is a head vulcan with 160 power, 50 ammo, 510 RPM, 10 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 225m range, 1360 DPS and 7% stagger value. These have high DPS, good range and the ability to stagger in just over 1.7 seconds, making them incredibly useful in a variety of situations.
Its second sub weapon is a butterfly edge with 1750x2 power, 8 seconds reload, 0.33 seconds swap time and 350m range. These count as melee damage but are a thrown ranged projectile. They follow your reticle mid-flight and break Maneuver Armor no matter what. You can easily stop raids with these or just to use them as another stun before going for melee.
Its third sub weapon are Psycho Plates with 1500x8 power, 1 ammo, 10 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 300m range and 35%x8 stagger value. These have immense power, high stun accumulation and can be fired while boosting, but fire straight at the enemy rather than actually tracking them unlike other lock on weapons. If you aim for the broad side of an enemy after downswinging them, you can hit most of these and do insanely high ballistic damage. Raids can die in one combo with a proper hit.
Its fourth sub weapon is a Psycho Plate barrier with 100% heat, 16 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time and 2500 HP. This blocks stuns and melee for you until it breaks or after 10 seconds have passed. This gives you a huge advantage in close range fighting since you can ignore the enemies stuns and shoot back with your own.
Its fifth sub weapon is a rifle grenade launcher with 1400 power, 1 ammo, 8 seconds reload, 0.77 seconds swap time, 250m range and 40% stagger value. You can treat this as an 8 second cooldown bazooka, since it instant stuns and has a fair splash radius.
The Moon Gundam has 23000 HP, 29 ballistic defence, 20 beam defence and 29 melee defence. This seems sorta average at first but a 25% damage reduction leg buffer and 40% buffer for the Psycho Plates on your back makes you quite durable. You also have the combination of both LV1 Maneuver Armor and LV2 Emergency Evasion.
It also has 135 walk speed, 225 boost speed, 75 thrust and 78 turning speed. This is fine mobility but nothing special until the 50% HP buff activates. It has LV3 Forced Injector and LV3 Flight Control which is normal for 700 cost; but at 50% HP its special skill Psycho Plate Resonance activates. This adds +15 shooting/melee modifier, +10 walk speed, -50% initial thrust consumption, high priority and makes you immune to enemy debuffs that disable psycommu weapons.
I feel like these buffs are really good, the Moon Gundam went from a decent suit to the strongest general when it comes to close range fighting, though it still has the weakness of mediocre mid-long range game to make up for this strength. I think that has a favourable match-up against even Banshee Norn if played properly, but this assumes you are fighting close up of course. If you like playing frontline generals, I can highly recommend the Moon Gundam. It can appear in the RT store 700 tickets, if you don't already have it that is. Thanks for watching!
