This video contains two matches I had with the LV1 and LV2 Dijeh SE-R on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 600-700 cost general with a fast two hit downswing, two instant staggers, Offence System which makes it hard to interrupt it alongside the combination of both LV2 Damage Control and LV1 Maneuver Armor to resist staggers. Its major weakness is that it has no dodge roll, but it also suffers from mediocre midrange shooting ability. I used to really love playing this suit when it was meta, it felt like it could effortlessly move around the map all while knocking over tons of enemies, but now it feels like the powercreep has become far too much for it to handle. I played these two matches in space where the SE-R really shines, thanks to dodge rolls not being that good in space to begin with. I hope that you enjoy watching!
Its primary weapon is a clay bazooka with 2300 power, 6 ammo, 7 seconds cooldown, 18 seconds reload, 1.77 seconds swap time, 350m range and 80% stagger value. This has long cooldown but instant staggers, it is easy to hit with because of the splash radius.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam naginata with 2350 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time, 80% side swing modifier and 100%x2 downswing modifier. This has low base power but the downswing modifier means that it can do surprisingly good damage against squishier targets. The animation is fast and you can follow up with another downswing against knocked over enemies, it is also hard for enemies to interrupt you because of your LV1 Offence System skill.
Its first sub weapon is a vulcan gun with 95 power, 80 ammo, 600 RPM, 8 seconds reload, 200m range, 950 DPS and 4% stagger value. This has pretty decent DPS and tons of ammo, but it takes 2.5 seconds to stagger on its own, and it isn't always viable to wait that long. It can break Maneuver Armor well in combination with your bazooka.
Its second sub weapon is a beam rifle with 1700 power, 85% heat, 3.5 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 350m range and 20% stagger value. This has low damage and a high heat rate, but it instant staggers.
The LV1 Dijeh SE-R has 19000 HP, 25 ballistic/beam resist and 16 melee resist. It has decent durability but other smaller suits at this cost often have similar or better bulk. Its bulk is boosted further by a 15% damage reduction leg buffer, a 30% reduction shoulder buffer and 15% reduction back binder buffer. It has LV1 Maneuver Armor, LV1 Offence System and LV2 Damage Control for defensive skills.
In terms of mobility it has 130 walk speed, 220 boosting speed, 85 thrust and 72 turning speed. Its mobility is by no means bad, but it no longer has the mobility advantage that it once held over other generals. It has LV2 Forced Injector and LV3 Flight Control for mobility skills.
It also has a pretty rare skill called LV2 Overboost. You can activate this by boosting when your thrusters are overheated, once activated you will have infinite thrust and increased mobility for 10 seconds, although you will enter a trip animation or a heavy stagger animation after the timer ends, and your thrusters will be overheated for triple the normal amount of time. This skill is really not worth using, it is more harmful than helpful most of the time so I don't recommend using it.
I think that while the SE-R is still decent in space, it has been very powercrept when it comes to ground matches. The loadout worked perfectly fine when it was meta in 2020, but it doesn't have enough benefits to make up for the major weaknesses of having no dodge roll and having mediocre shooting ability. I think that it needs serious buffs if it is ever to be good again outside of space. I think that it should get +5 walking speed, +10 boosting speed, LV3 Forced Injector, +2000 HP, LV1 Pursuit Auxiliary Melee Program, vulcans with 5% or 6% stagger value, 75% heat rate for its beam rifle, +10 melee modifier for all levels and LV2 Optimized Cooling Efficiency. This would basically give it the same relative advantages it had when it was meta, which would be having good durability, great mobility, great melee damage and good stuns. It might even be fair to give it an entirely new skill, since both the source material that inspired the SE-R and the ingame MS explanation mention a mysterious "SE System" that boosts the suits mobility, so perhaps that could be a good replacement for Overboost LV2 if the developers decide to go that way. In its current state I can only really recommend that you play this suit in space, it will probably be frustrating on the ground. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
