This video contains two recent matches I had with the LV1 and LV2 Hyaku Shiki Kai Ground Type on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 600-650 cost support with three instant staggers, guided missiles with great stagger accumulation, a small frame, pretty good mobility and a fast downswing. Its weaknesses would be poor durability, hover movement which adds a learning curve to aiming accurately and long reload time on the guided missiles. I used to think that this support was just alright, but I have grown on it recently. You really can't go wrong with a suit that gets three instant staggers and two sub weapons that are good at pushing out extra DPS. I hope that you enjoy watching!
Its primary weapon is a beam rifle with 2200 power, 4 ammo, 6 seconds cooldown, 18 seconds reload, 0.77 seconds swap time, 350m range and 10% stagger value. On its own this seems pretty meh for a 650 cost support, being a really average instant stagger beam rifle. Its real strength lays in the fact that it can combo together with your other staggers to lock enemies in place.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 2500 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time and 70%x2 downswing modifier. This has okay base power alongside above average downswing modifier, but it also has a very fast downswing animation. This makes it a great self defence tool, since you can easily go from a stagger to a knockdown with it.
Its first sub weapon is a beam cannon with 2400 power, 85% heat, 4 seconds cooldown, 20 seconds overheat, 1.5 seconds swap time, 450m range and 20% stagger value. This stops to fire and has somewhat long swap time, but instantly staggers. This is a good tool to start your stagger chains with.
Its second sub weapon is an incendiary missile pod with 1100x3 power, 3 ammo, 4 seconds cooldown, 22 seconds reload, 1.5 seconds swap time, 400m range, 200x10 fire damage and 50%x3 stagger value. This has somewhat long swap time but does not stop to fire. It fires 3 guided missiles back to back that have excellent damage, stagger value and splash radius. This is your big damage tool and is your only good MA break, but the reload time is quite long.
Its third sub weapon is a shoulder grenade launcher with 425 power, 6 ammo, 250 RPM, 12 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 250m range and 17% stagger value. This has mediocre velocity and only staggers if every shot connects, making it best suited as a stagger follow-up tool for more damage.
Its fourth sub weapon is an underbarrel railgun with 1900 power, 2 ammo, 7 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds reload, 0.77 seconds swap time, 350m range and 40% stagger value. This instant staggers and pierces through enemies, making it easy to use as either a combo starter or ender to continue staggering with.
It also has a large shield with 4500 HP. This improves your low durability somewhat, but it also buffs hovering/turning speed by 15% once broken. Without custom parts, this buffs your hover speed to 158 and turning speed to 82.
In terms of durability at LV2 it has 19000 HP, 34 ballistic resist, 36 beam resist and 12 melee resist. It has low HP and low melee resist, but has high default ranged resistances. This means that you can't really afford to get caught in melee, even a general could hurt you pretty bad there. But your good mobility means that you can avoid these bad situations.
In terms of mobility it has 135 (138 including ground affinity) hover speed, 190 boosting speed, 60 thrust and 66 (72 including affinity) turning speed. This is pretty good mobility for a 600-650 cost support, not the absolute fastest but definitely up there. It is certainly enough to not get left behind by your team. This mobility is further improved by access to LV2 Forced Injectors and LV1 Optimized Cooling Efficiency.
In conclusion, I think the Ground Type Hyaku Shiki Kai is an excellent option for a 600/650 cost support. It has a small hitbox, zippy mobility, good stagger lock ability and really powerful incendiary missiles. If you can just connect these weapons together (which isn't all that difficult if you are comfy with hover movement) then you can easily make a difference in team fights, saving your allies and outputting good damage. I think that it will be even stronger once the FA Unicorn 7 step bonus custom part comes, that one is already confirmed to buff fire damage dealt by 20% and duration by 10%, which should buff the fire from 2000 total damage to 2640. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
