This video contains two matches I had with the recently released Nu Gundam Mass Production Type on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 600 cost general with excellent stun accumulation, great mid-range DPS, fairly high HP, good downswing power and excellent stagger lock ability. Its weaknesses would be relatively short range for its best DPS/stagger accumulation tools, it is also a little bit big and easy to hit. People have been wanting this suit for a long time and it does not disappoint. They really just put the Nu Gundam in 600 cost, scaled back appropriately for balance reasons though of course. I hope that you enjoy watching!
Its primary weapon is a beam rifle with 600x4 (2800) power, 13%x4 (90%) heat, 0.8 seconds cooldown, 18 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap, 300m (350m) range, 3 seconds focus time and 20%x4 (80%) stagger value. This is basically the 700 cost Nu Gundam beam rifle but with less damage. It is an excellent DPS and stagger accumulation tool as long as your aim is good.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 2500 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap, 80%x2 downswing modifier and 60% combo modifier. This shares the same moveset as the Nu Gundam except for the downswing, which is a slower version of the MP ZZ Gundam downswing.
Its first sub weapon is a vulcan gun with 65x2 power, 60 ammo, 450 RPM, 15 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 175m range, 976 DPS and 3%x2 stagger value. This has solid performce with good DPS and the ability to stun in just under 2.3 seconds. It pairs well with your spray gun, beam rifle or INCOMs
Its second sub weapon is a double beam cannon with 1100x2 power, 80% heat, 4 seconds cooldown, 18 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap, 400m range and 10x2% stagger value. This stops to fire but does decent damage while also instantly staggering.
Its third sub weapon is a bazooka with 2300 power, 5 ammo, 6 seconds cooldown, 18 seconds reload, 1.77 seconds swap time, 300m range and 40% stagger value. This has similar performance to the pre-buff Nu Gundam bazooka, albeit with longer reload time, less damage and less stagger value. It is probably the best combo starter as long as it isn't reloading.
Its fourth sub weapon is a quad INCOM launcher with 350x12 power, 100% heat, 22 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap, 250m range, 15%x12 stagger value and 0.7 seconds lock time. These have very high power and stagger value for a 600 cost lock on weapon, they are basically guaranteed to stun. Be wary of the short range and long overheat time.
Its fifth sub weapon is an arm beam spray gun with 650 power, 30% heat, 150 RPM, 15 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap, 250m range and 35% stagger value. This isn't really that powerful on its own, it is best treated as an alternate version of your beam rifle burst. It is excellent for using after your beam rifle burst for extra DPS and accumulation. Otherwise it can stagger in 1.2 seconds on its own.
The MP Nu Gundam has 21000 HP, 20 ballistic resist and 23 beam/melee resist. Unlike the original Nu Gundam, the MP Nu has high HP relative to its cost. This means that it is perfectly capable of frontlining as the need arises, so don't be afraid to go back to basic bazooka+downswing combos. It has LV2 Emergency Evasion and LV1 Maneuver Armor for defensive skills.
In terms of mobility it has 135 walk speed, 210 boost speed, 70 thrust and 72 turning speed. The boost speed is a little below average for a general, but otherwise it is nimble. You also have LV2 Forced Injector and LV2 Flight Control for mobility related skills. Though this changes at 30% HP once Psychoframe Resonance activates, which adds +10 walking/boosting speed, -25% thrust consumption, +25 turning speed and -50% INCOM lock time. This makes you incredibly slippery and hard to catch while also making your INCOMs lock on very quickly.
Overall I feel like the MP Nu Gundam is pretty strong. It doesn't have any major weaknesses and has a loadout capable of playing at mid or close range without issue. It really is just the Nu Gundam but tweaked down to 600 cost, with some changes in sub weapons of course but still extremely similar. I will say though, you need to play this with a little more melee in mind than you do with the OG Nu, but that is just fine considering the melee damage. If you like the Nu Gundam at 700 cost then I can easily recommend the MP Nu, you will probably find that your skills transfer over very easily. It is probably weaker than MP ZZ and Anksha though. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
