Very nice footage of the GB&W! I was surprised to see my Dad, Gary Heuer in this. Brought back some great memories of working with most of the guys in this series. Thank you and I'll be watching for more videos featuring the GB&W.

A few things about this: 1. Glad to see you folks back in the game again. How've you been? 2. It's a cousidence you folks visited the GB&W IN August 1992, the folks from PENTREX came through their jutst a month before your visit. 3. To be honest, I wasn't sure how the railroads trackage looked like around Green Bay when watching the PENTREX release. Not to mention how exactly their reach McDonald Yard or Keewantee by way of the wye around the town's grain elevator. 4. Those WPSX coal hoppers go to & from a Wisconsin Public Service plant in town. Of interest, the Keewantee Sub eventually leads to the docks in that town where GB&W picks up cars from Michigan but service stopped in 1990. Wisconsin is one of few states where railroad diamonds are protected by gates or swinging gates with STOP signs. 5. The 1990 BN intermodal business in Green Bay is rather unique. In fact GB&W used to run a solid train of those containers between Green Bay & East Winnie calling it an EXTRA but eventually those cars were simply put into the road trains. 6. WC & GB&W intersect each other several times on certain routes they utilize. In this case, Green Bay is part of WC'S trackage rights with them between there & Black Creek where WC'S main towards Michigan's Upper Peninsula encounters GB&W'S where occasional interchange takes place. WC'S four intermodal SHOOTERS to & from Chicago, IL can be spotted on this route but on certain times in the day.
