1. I can't thank you folks enough for going more into detail on GB&W'S train #1's journey. Not to mention the chance to see GB&W fighting over for who gets to head out of Green Bay first with WC. The yard trackage at Norwood Yard is similar to Amtrak's terminal in Sanford, FL for their both not build to fit entire train set's into the yard tracks for disassembly & reassembly in one piece. 2. At the time of your visit, WC was sending four intermodal SPRINT trains a day over the trackage rights to & from Green Bay towards Black Creek. Of interest, two of them were recent additions hauling J.B.HUNT traffic for handoff to & from Santa Fe in Chicago, IL. 3. It is true that road train #2 most times gets into Norwood after dark but occasionally can run behind schedule. It can be due to the fact they had to pick up additional power to be brought back home. It's actually fortunate you caught that #1 with five diesels, it was shot close around the time PENTREX came to visit & they caught #2 arriving in Norwood after 5:30AM with five units leading. Two of them were being returned after working out on the west end with a ballast train. 4. When it comes to Black Creek, action there can be HOT & HEAVY. Depending on which railroad you came to visit, action can vary during the day & night with plenty of interchange between the two. The WPSX coal goes to a power plant in Green Bay. Black Creek is only one of several spots that WC & GB&W intersect each other. 5. The appearance of Daylight train #5 comes to me as a surprise along with the increase in traffic during the summer of 1993. This allows train's #'s 1&2 additional time & effort by decreasing the work they need to complete at the tart & end of their journey's. 6. In addition to the locations mentioned, #'s 1&2 pick-up & drop off reefers at the ORE-IDA plant in Plover. They're the folks responsible for the frozen fries seen in the grocery stores. 7. So if JOB C takes over JOB A'S task of forwarding #1 towards East Winona, WS, What task does JOB B do exactly?
