It honestly sounds like a direct transfer between games of the sounds which is so awesome. It’s by far one of my least favorite racetracks in MK 8 but the song is great.

How to make the worst track in DD one of the best in MK8: Step 1: Nerf Freezies or nuthin' Freezies. Step 2: It's past your bedtime, go to bed so Santa can visit your house. Step 3: Hypothermia no longer exists.

Seeing this track again in full HD, with the gorgeous wintery night sky and the aurora borealis shining overhead, then hearing the familiar whistling melody from my youth, is enough to bring me to tears everytime.

It's a middle of the road track for me. Aesthetically it might be one of my favorites. The moon shining down while hundreds of lights illuminate the track... It's just stunning. The music only adds to it all, making this track feel absolutely magical. Now track design wise....eh? I like the underwater section a lot but why take that when I could take the faster path? It's just boring to me personally.

One of the subtle aspects I really like about this course's art is how you can see the tire tracks in the snow lit up ahead of you by your headlights while you're lined up at the start. They look _real_ in a surprising way.

Isn’t it interesting that the only two GameCube tracks in the original were a desert stage and a winter stage? I hope with the DLC we get more GameCube games, Sherbet land and Dry Dry desert were great courses IMO I’m still holding out for Mushroom city and DinoDino jungle though

I remember this being one of my favorite tracks back in the Wii U days, and it was also the closest we had to a Christmas track back then! Now we got Merry Mountain or Animal Crossing. (Winter) Even though they are both great Christmas like tracks, Sherbet Land is the most nostalgic one for me

I recently play as Ludwig von Koopa and my sister plays as Wendy O. Koopa in this place. But literally I lose. Long time ago she plays as Iggy by using time trial mode and returns to the beginning but Roy says "what, is this a reverse?! that's not cool at all!!" With a baritone voice.

I got Double Dash and a GC recently. I was thinking, "this sounds really familiar, like something I've heard recently" and then the 'nam flashbacks of me trying to beat the 150cc Star Cup on Double Dash to unlock the Special Cup a couple months ago hit me like a truck. This track is bullshit and its music is frustratingly catchy.

this may be dumb, but the instruments remind me of sonic 4 episode 1 casino street act 2 for the wii. which would make sense, as the instruments in that song are unique to the wii version, and the wii is a nintendo console, same as the switch and wii U, both home to Mario Kart 8. just a thought i had.
