yeah this is genuinely that goldilocks scaling that you just don't see too often, it's not too big to where the bigger jumps feel awkward or sometimes impossible and it's not too small to where the turns feel cramped and painfully tight
@@MMX974 Thts my problem with both Wario Colosseum and N64 Wario Stadium. I don’t think Colosseum would get that treatment and still be 2 laps but Stadium I think they’d definitely at least either shorten it, put sections, or make it two laps.
A lot of people tend top get lazy when they make/port a map The fact this guy even considered the paths of the blue shells, show the care hey puts in even if there might not have been a blue shell at all
This is a track import to be proud of! I mean it’s just a perfect import, the scale is correct and although I’m watching a video instead of playing it I can just see that it drives and feels exactly how it was in Double Dash. It’s really cool to see a perfect track import, normally one or more things feels not right with imported tracks but this one is perfect
@@speedylitsonic7347 hopefully either Wave 5 or 6. I'm also hoping DS DK Pass and Airship Fortress come and make a return as those were AWESOME tracks in my opinion

This made me realise how much slower the boost pads are in MK8. Instead of going fast to clear the jump, the gravity and physics are floaty so you fall slowly...
This stems from an utopia where Nintendo knows which tracks to pick for the retro cups. Dry, dry desert, but not this? Sorbet Land, but not this? I mean, come on... And even IF they picked this track, it would surely only be a one-lap-race nowadays.
Most likely we’re getting either Mushroom Bridge or Mushroom City (I’m leaning towards Bridge), Daisy Cruiser, Waluigi Stadium (it’s been datamined), and either DK Mountain or Dino Dino Jungle (me personally am hoping it’s DK Mountain for gameplay and bias reasons).
Nintendo better bring this course back with the booster packs. If they don't, they better bring it back in Mario Kart 9. And they BETTER release a Mario Kart 9.

really good remake even with two mistakes: the physics (at 1:15 the kart don't "jump" like in the original version) and the sound effect of the grid that don't appeared when the kart touch the grid. Anyway I hope this track will be part of the booster course pass
