@Nipun Thanks for your comments. For this use case, BGP IP is supposed to be static in this range 169.254.0.0/16. You can pick one from this range. Refer Step 6 of the video. Guide: cloud.google.com/network-connectivity/docs/vpn/how-to/creating-ha-vpn2
Thanks for this very cool video. I created a POC of this so that I can implement logging queries/ metrics and test out recommender. Although VPN creation isn't my main POC but only monitoring and metric aspect of it, the video is super easy to follow.
Hi Venkat, Thanks for your feedback. Actually I don't have a real on-prem setup to show you that demo. But its fairly straight forward. Instead of the left side GCP you need to consider your on-prem Router, provided your on-prem Router must support the necessary protocols HA VPN. Thanks
hi! i'm connected to Corporate network but i want this vpn to connect to my network and i want to access the private ip address of instance. how it can be possible?
Hi Hammad, Same Question is answered in the below chats. Just to save ur time am pasting it for you again. --> For connecting you on-prem network/corporate network to GCP, you need to check the Switch/Router Vendor of your on-prem network. Refer their VPN Guide Manual to setup VPN between your on-prem to GCP. You should co-ordinate this activity along with your corporate network team. Thank you.
