Hi Mahesh, For the last question, I don't agree with you that n1-standard-64 means 64 GB RAM. It should be 240GB as shown when you select it. I thought the 64 stands for 64 vCPU rather than the 64 GB RAM size. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks for your advice in advance.

PCA if you are not good at writing code. PDE if you are good at writing python code. DevOps if you interested in Terraform, Jenkins and other DevOps concepts

Storage transfer service supports transfer from on premise as source, but you mentioned it doesn't support

There are totally three service - Transfer Appliance: OnPrem to GCP - Transfer Service for Cloud: AWS/Azure/GCP to GCP's GCS - Transfer Service for OnPrem: OPrem to GCP. This is newly launched service. On 4th Dec 2019 Beta version was launched cloud.google.com/storage-transfer/docs/release-notes#December_04_2019 I did the video on 19th Nov 2019

Hey Mahesh, thanks for all the videos and the useful info that you put through. How do you see the GCP adoption when compared to AWS. From the job openings perspective in Australia, I see a lot of demand with AWS somewhere around 1(GCP):5(AWS) .. What are your thoughts?

Don't have much visibility on job opening in Australia. But GCP offerings like Anthos, AI are going to change the market which will make GCP #1 soon and then there will be a huge demand for GCP resources.

For the question 14 in 43:03, if it is asked now, which one should we choose btw gsutil and storage transfer service ?

There are two Storage Transfer Service 1. Storage Transfer Service for Cloud (previously called as Storage Transfer Service) 2. Storage Transfer Service for On-Prem (new service) If the same question is asked as-is then we don't have a service called Storage Transfer Service so a. Gsutil is still answer

@@ovnigaz then there is conflict Gsutil & Transfer Service for On-Prem both can fullfil the require. So, question should some tie breaker like easy to setup then GSUTIL or easy to schedule and container based solution then Transfer Service for On-Prem is the choice
