In this video, we look at how to determine the formula of an ionic compound given the charges on the ions. This is really important and is a very common exam question.

At 1:29 , does that mean if you did that in an exam it wouldn’t be valid and you wouldn’t get a mark for it even if they told you that there were 2 Na ions or 2 Cl- ions?
