even though I'm a year 7 student, this has really helped me and would make me confident and use all the different techniques to help me in my exam on the 5th of July, thank you very much!
I am going to have my GCSE exams in English this year and I am also having my ESOL exams level 2 at the same time :O). I have just found your videos and I am learning a lot from it. Thank you!
Hi, thanks for the video. What would you include in the introduction of a formal leaflet?? Also, will you lose marks if you don't put a subheading for the conclusion? Thanks
The new GCSE english directed writing section has a word limit of only 200-300 words and you have crossed it... Would'nt you lose marks for exceeding the word limit?
good video but I found the topic sentence of your leaflet frankly a bit insulting. When you are writing to persuade you are supposed to emphasize with your audience, not alienate them. Don't make assumptions about their lives. If an overweight teenager were to actually read that I doubt they'd be encouraged to make a positive change. So instead of scaremongering techniques I probably would have highlighted the fun aspects of exercise and given examples of different activities that teenagers can do.
