For 6 weeks from March to May, the GCTC choir met online over Zoom. Under the direction of Saeideh Rajabzadeh, choristers expanded their singing technique and learned this piece together. This is the final performance project of GCTC's first online choir, accompanied by Wendy Berkelaar (piano), and produced by video wizard AL Connors. This video features the intermediate group of singers. There were two choirs, and you can view the other choir's performance by clicking: • GCTC Choir: Walk Hand ... . There is also ASL interpretation and captions in the video. Below you will find a visual description and the video's transcript. We hope that you enjoy the choir's performance. Music by Cy Coleman, lyrics by Dorthy Fields, Arranged by John Leavitt.” Tile fades and a grid of people’s faces appear, totalling 90 squares. All of the backgrounds are light in colour, with the many choristers looking directly at us and smiling. They all wear solid coloured shirts and have various types of headphones or earphones. There are five sound waves boxes that fluctuate as the choir sings, these represent singers who submitted only a voice recording. The four black coloured backgrounds feature the ASL interpreter, she wears a dark blue top (for sopranos) and a purple top (for tenors). Four of the boxes feature Saeideh Rajabzadeh, the music director and conductor; she wears a red long sleeve dress with her dark hair pulled in a bun. Behind her is an abstract painting with blue, purple and yellow on a black background. Wendy Berkelaar, the pianist, who is seated at her electric piano with her profile to us, appears 3 times in the grid. She has short light hair and a black top. The GCTC black and yellow logo lettering is in the bottom left corner. As the choir sings the video slowly zooms in towards the four corners of the screen, beginning at the top left corner and slowly pans down to the bottom, then shifts to the right, moving up to the top right corner. This pattern shifts so that all of the choristers; videos are shown and in the final moments, the video zooms out and ends with the initial grid of videos. ]
