I have the GE Profile 27.9 cu. ft. Smart 4-Door French Door Refrigerator with Door in Door in Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel - only negative for me - was only available in the stainless color. The lighting is 100 white for me; no odd off colors at all. Don’t overfill the top freezer section; easy to knock something down into the back and a pain to get out. But that’s normal for these styles - not really a fault of this model. Bottom line - do not over fill your freezer. Especially on top.

Replaced the Samsung (Showcase) from hell with this one and couldn’t be happier so far! The ice maker doesn’t require chipping out three inches of ice weekly, the handle on the middle drawer hasn’t broken off in my hand, the freezer bucket hasn’t fallen apart TWICE, it cools consistently, the doors shut snugly, the water filter is easy to access etc etc. Honestly a block of ice in a cooler is better than that Samsung! Very happy with this GE so fart if it holds up I will have it for a long time!

We have owned ours for just over a year. The water dispenser randomly dispenses water and the ice maker mechanisms freeze up with water that has frozen on the underside of the ice cube tray. Anyone else with these issues?

This was very helpful thanks. Do you find any temp loss around the ‘quick door’? Is the upper space staying at 37 evenly? And are the crisper doors keeping things crisp. I am replacing an LG and it wilted everything from the start.

I have a problem. Mine gets cold but not cold enough to make ice in freezer or for built in ice maker to work. It might be that the compressor fan stopped working to help it get extra cold to make ice. Sad, only 3 years old. Im going to try and replace the cheap what looks like a computer fan.

Can anyone tell me if the water that is dispensed is supposed to be cold? I assumed it would be chilled water, but our refrigerator is just dispensing room temperature water. Thanks!

In my local HD, this unit's water filter door had snapped its anchor off and it would flap open. We noticed at one point that someone had taped it shut but for whatever reason they had removed this tape. Was this a fluke or is it easy to break this water filter door lock thing?

My fridges door in door handle doesn’t bring the second compartment with it no matter if I’m holding down the handle or not, do you know a fix?

What no one mentions is that stupid water filter costs 60 bucks due to the rfid chip thats in there and can use the GE product to work correctly. When you use the normal xwf filter no water will come out unlless you are able to get the rfid tag off the old filter. But then you are stuck with the change filter notification...

I’m having trouble with the shelf right under the swivel bin , my bin doesn’t fit but it’s the only big piece left 😢 did you have this problem ?

We have the same fridge and yeah it does have the yellowish stain. It’s like the factory removed a sticker or something.

That blue tape needs to be removed from the crisper drawers...

We bought this a few weeks ago..idk man it’s just still hard to believe I paid $3500 for a fridge.
