The F350 Error code indicates that there is a problem with the upper cooling fan circuit or that the upper cooling fan blower wheel is not turning as fast as it should.
The following are some of the common causes of F350 Error code:
• Obstructions in the upper cooling fan area
• Faulty wiring
• A defective blower motor
Now, let's look at the best solutions you can apply to fix the F350 Error code.
Power cycle the range
The error may be due to a bug in the system. To clear this, reset the range. To do this:
• Unplug the unit from the socket
• Leave it off for a few minutes and plug it back in
• Power on the range and start a bake cycle
Check if the error persists.
Check for Obstructions
Test if the upper cooling fan is turning correctly. To do this,
• Press and hold the broil and one button simultaneously for approximately three seconds so that you can activate the ERC test mode.
• You should then press 3 so that you can run the cooling fan at a low speed
• Look through the vent trim at the rear of the maintop to check if the fan is spinning slowly or not spinning at all
If the fan is not rotating correctly, remove the range maintop and inspect the fan area for any obstructions. Remove any foreign objects you find, wires, or insulation pressing that may be impeding, the fan rotation.
Check the wiring
Inspect and ensure the wiring in the blower motor is connected firmly. Test the motor wiring to determine if it is damaged. To do this:
• Place the probes of an Ohmmeter on the white and black wires and record the Ohm values
• Next, place the probes on the white and red wires and record the Ohm values
If the white-to-black resistance is not 47 ohms and the white-to-red resistance is not 31 ohms, the wiring is damaged and needs to be repaired or replaced.
Replace the blower motor assembly.
If the blower wheel turns freely when turned manually, and the wiring is working fine, the blower motor assembly is probably faulty and needs to be replaced.
