Just going to say it again.Luffy isnt weak against slice and stab attacks he is just strong against blunt attacks.Everyone is as weak to stab slice attacks as luffy other than buggy.
I think the craziest thing about Gear 5 is, that it hasn't reach it's full potential. Imagine what it can do to the fullest, maybe we will see it against Imu. Maybe a one time use against Blackbeard, who knows
You underrate admirals you just said he can beat every admiral without taking a break or healing + when he grabbed lighting Wich is hotter than magma you have to keep in mind this is one piece not real life + he’s immune to electricity
Blackbeard might if he cheats and that would be in line with his character. Kaido could get pretty far considering how much abuse he tanked before he eventually lost to Luffy. Shanks with both arms might be able to and Prime Whitebeard was a strong as Roger and could definitely run the gauntlet but his older self in Marineford probably not and we saw how that went but he was trying to save Ace, not kill the Admirals. Big Mom is questionable but she did fight Kaido evenly so I’d say about the same.
I knew this was going to happen. Why does none take someone's mental state into the fight? Kizuru had ALOT on his mind and idk if you've ever been emotionally conflicted or super depressed but its kinda hard to do anything when you hate what you have to do and very conflicted about your life. Not that Kizuru beats Gear 5th by straight up being stronger but if you actually watched the fight taking in the fact people's scares physical or mental like Oda has done many many times you'd understand Luffy is only defeating one Admiral before running out of energy at best. Personally i think if luffy fights fujitora or plant boy first he'd defeat them but whoever he fights second wins ending the gauntlet if he fights Fujitora first than plant boy or if he fights plant boy than fujitora it ends the same. If he fights any other admiral it ends in a draw at best or the admirals out last Gear 5th and easily win.
The temperature of air around lighting had nothing to do with luffy conjuring that lighting ,it was possible becoz he is made of rubber .he would definitly burnt to death becoz of akainu's magma.
Small thing, I thought of awhile ago, luffy in the fight with kaido was swimming in the clouds. Not flying but literally swimming, as in he can literally grab water like rubber grab clouds like rubber grab anything including sea water and not really be touching it. I’m hype for this to actually be true, but it’s literally all based on him swimming in the clouds before he went titan mode.
Kizaru wasn't defeated by Gear 5 Luffy. He always get back on his feet and feels only EMOTIONAL DAMAGE after turning his back on friendship with Vegapunk, Kuma, Bonney and Sentomaru. Good soldiers follow orders.

I'd argue that a similar however far clearer situation happened with Katakuri. Luffy can "win" on will alone his purpose and motivation generally exceeds the enemies he fights. I don't think Luffy vs certain enemies will ever be fair because a lot of the time especially in this case with Kizaru they aren't fighting in the best state of mind. Luffy always is

@@Khaled68335 Yess they can easily. If Blackbeard touches luffy his goofy playstyle would get nullyfied his dark vortex works like armament haki. Akainu just have to land a hottest magma blow and luffy will start to dissolve in soil. Rubber cant withstand overheat point it melts.

That’s not a fair matchup for Luffy. We saw on Egghead that his Gear5 only last for like 10-20 minutes and the way he fought Kizaru and Lucci even if he dominates he takes his time fighting his opponents in that form. His Gear5 would run out after 2 fights max and after that he would be helpless. If he isn’t getting any help at that point even a regular Marine could put him in seastone handcuffs or just kill him with a sword. He loses after round 2 unless he decides to fight using his normal abilities and other Gears until the very end.
comparing lightning temperature to magma temperature is a stretch. The lightning "discharge" emits a lot of heat that's true but what the rubber insulation does is actually prevent a discharge from reaching the insulated item or person and causing an electrical arc... That's not how comic book physics work though, I get that... for both to (kinda) work, you'd need to have rubber-man "guide" the path of electrons to the target using his body. Giving the illusion of him holding the lightning. And yet, not touching it and not getting the full heat which would melt rubber. Another consideration is that Luffy is made of magic rubber because real rubber is too weak to actually stop lightning and rubber melts at temperatures around 180C (natural rubber) and even vulcanized rubber will burn at 400C or so. Luffy vs Akainu just like Luffy vs Aokiji will 100% come down to Haki. if we're speaking of actual rubber and not magic rubber. In which case, what temperatures can magic rubber of a awakened god-fruit being tolerate before breaking or burning? I won't go there.
Interesting point about fujitora’s fruit is that while is not a nature based logia it still uses a nature based ability although he isnt made of gravity
I just want to say that because luffys haki combined with his current devil fruit abilities would probably allow Luffy to rubberize Green Bulls roots and then Luffy would just "uproot" Green Bull and just throw him in the water. Luffy was shown to be very casual when he saw Green Bull fight and I think that's because it wouldn't be as difficult of a fight as you made it seem it would have been. Otherwise great video ❤
But why did the magma form of Kaido hurt luffy? and the same with one of the 5 Elders? He get burned by them so why should he stand a chance by Akainu allthough he can hold Lightnings?

Saturn is complete fodder when it comes to anything but regeneration secondly, he grabbed kizaru from behind while he was attacking vegapunk and Sanji so he was a mobilized and wasn’t able to really fight from the jump and Saturn is slow so he just caught Saturn and then he capitalized off of that offguard grab Kizaru ended up still conscious with no visible damage and when they were fighting 101 we saw what happened kizaru wasn’t actively trying to fight with still was able to damage him and blocked his attacks in gear five was able to hit him with an attack on guard and got right back up in 30 seconds to a minute after one of strong attack gear five while Luffy need food and was down in kizaru could’ve killed him so that shows that he really didn’t want to fight him
@@_yrb3539 Gear 5 is impressive & entertaining but theres still stronger and better devil fruit powers than gear 5 Ex. Whitebeard, blackbeard, Buggy, kuzan, sakazuki, fujitora, kizaru, marco. Luffy have to stop play around with that goofy styled gear 5 Bcuz someone with stronger & superior haki than luffy can beat Gear 5 easily. Ex. Shanks, kaido, mihawk, whitebeard, roger, kaido.
I've always thought that the Red Rock ability came from being the sun god just named giving respect to Ace. Always figured Luffy just hasn't fully trapped into that side yet
Emu is a shado(shadoqueen) belonging to the race of thelarbark ark biggest being(animal), she is a queen so she is an exception in size between them, they live in darkness like emu never come in contact of sun like in meast/cloud and. An ancient race before the void century.
I like the video but the editing got a little wonky on this one, there was a couple places where you repeated yourself as if you didn't cut out a bad take. I wouldn't have said anything except this is not the first video I've noticed that in.

I like haki a bonus system. Its like merging western and Eastern takes on powers. West, you get the powers some way, and they are unique. Eastern, lots of people are capable gaining incredible power. But you have to work for it. The power isn't unique. You can do it if you work hard for it.

i can't help but imagine akainu having a moment of existential crisis. he seems to be like the kind of character to have one. to were he starts to question everyone about his job, and any answers he tries to answer to himself will slowly run out. effectively burning out. because remember his justice is "absolute justice" or justice at any cost and that is inherently destructive to himself and everything around it. as for why i believe he will have a existential crisis, well its tough for me to land a finger on it. and i could be wrong about this. but the idea of akainu being defeated well before luffy even throws a punch towards him sounds fitting.
Good theory. Is this an accurate assessment if we have no idea what the admirals can do in their Awakening state? I argue that we have yet to see any Admiral go all out. Also, with Luffy's stamina issue, I think it would be very difficult for Luffy doing a gauntlet with no help
maybe the solution against fujitora is not be to stretch but to contract. less mass, less effected by gravity. and VP said it in chapter 1114 "...he fought with a body that streched and contracted." we almost never saw ruffy contracting in a way of getting smaler, only after stretching (and a short time after using gear 3) 🤷♂
Aokijis fruit is not really "ice" more like "cold" meaning he cannot generate ice he can just cool things down to a point of freezing and since he mostly uses it on water it seems like he's making ice.
ODA does not have regular temps in OP, I’d say the hottest things go is from lighting to lasers and then to magma as the hottest, just based off what we’ve seen in the story on lethality of different attacks. Plus G5 may be able to grab lighting but that’s cuz of imagination plus he’s rubber so it counters, he cannot grab magma, he might be able to touch it temporarily like he does with Warcury and get lit on fire, I feel like Luffy would take even more damage if he hit Akainu.
