Gear Failure & My Stupidity

Today's overnight adventure was an epic failure. Come along for the ride as I explain what gear failed, what I did wrong, and for a story from my time in the Marine Corps. There are a few clips and tidbits of the adventure.
I will be doing some fishing here very soon. I am currently in the market for a fishing kayak AND a canoe for adventures. I'm on a very tight budget, so I'll be offering trades of different items for them or offering autobody repair services in exchange for kayak or canoe.

We’ve all had misadventures like that. Funny thing is you remember the misadventures more. Get up with 12 Stones when you go to Uwharrie and he might tell you some secret spots. Let me know and I’ll tell you where to find some big cats.

I plan on getting up with him at some point. I won his last giveaway and received a Mora knife. Looking forward to putting it to use. Most of my Uwharri experience is in the Birkhead and is hunting. Thanks for watching, I enjoy having other Alphas around haha

Dam ! Im sorry you had a rough time with forgetting some of the camping equipment. You're not stupid, man. It happens to all of us. I always forget something vital. Too bad about the knife. For the longest time, I've used a SOG seal pup, a bitch to sharpen but served me well. Looking forward to your Uwharrie camp, I can't wait. Just a thought, would you be interested in a camping trip, winter time, in Birkhead wilderness ? Im planning a trip to look for old mining pits and foundations off trail. I'm just throwing it out there, if you're interested.

Man Uwharrie is my home turf! Sorry you had such a horrendous gear failure... Time to put that Mora into play, although I wouldn't recommend battoning wood with it... 😂

Man thats sux you had so many different things come up during your trip. No real failure imo tho because it's stuff to learn from and that will only come by experience. Also it's funny you talk about fishing because I just finished editing a catch and cook video yesterday. Fb market place is a good place to check for a fishing kayak or pawnshops based along the coast would probably be another good area to look

I tried to do a catch & cook with my new cast net I got for Father's Day. Could only come up with 7 small shrimp, so I gave them to some younger kid who was fishing. Thanks for watching my friend, I appreciate it.
