GEAR n REVIEW: Cheapest Test Adventure! Microwave, LiFePo battery, Modified / Pure Sine Inverter. 

Thanks for all your help. I learned a lot in my experience with trying to find an inverter for a microwave. I got the 700w but Iater learned even though it may say 700w it may pull 1000w and more. Also I learned it's multiple things that makes a difference in using a microwave on an inverter. It's the wattage on the microwave, the wattage of the inverter, the cords that you use to connect the inverter to the battery also the battery. All theses things can alter the results of the use of the microwave. It's best to get a microwave with the lowest wattage or get an inverter that is at least higher than the microwave wattage at least 300 or more. It's best to use pure sine wave and use the cords that comes with the inverter unless you're familiar with how to change the cording because if you have the wrong cording it won't work, and you have to the proper battery amps and voltage for the battery and it can be challenging to figure out but with research you'll find answers I'm still looking for the lowest amps on the battery I can run on the inverter to save money. Just an FYI, for microwaves, advertised wattage is cooking power. My 900 watt Toshiba pulls 1350. Nice video.

You have a defective microwave. When you turn it on you should hear a soft hum as the magnetron fires up. You will also see the interior light in the microwave dim down as megnetron kicks in.

Get a killawatt meter to check power usage, it is really useful.

If your microwave is not heating check the issues could be the fuse or something else inside the microwave could be the magnetron

Pure sine wave is for sensitive electronics, such as microwaves.

The 100amp BMS in your battery limits the systems output to 1000W no matter what the inverter says.

2 minutes on a 700w micro would mame water hot.. xefectiv microwave!

*What you are hearing is the modified sine wave slowly destroying anything like capacitors and IC's inside your connected device ! Well it work ? Yes. No problem. Will it work for long ? Not really. Soon your Microwave will be have its electronics totally fried ! 👍👀*

Seems most of the vlogs I’ve seen on RU-vid have always recommended pure sine wave inverters. You can’t go wrong as most of your pricier electronics

I buy a Caravan Sine Wave Converter 6000W Power Inverter DC 12V To AC 240V LCD 4USB Car . Can’t make hot . About 7 minutes just warm the food 😅 the Microwave is 1050w . So maybe need to change the inverter ?

Ok so I am confused. Everyone I know says you need an MPPT (which that inverter may have) and must run the inverter off the vehicle battery. But here we see the microwave was direct from the inverter, and the inverter got its power direct from the battery. Do I need a generator like a Bluetti or a Jackery etc? Or can I use a standalone battery to run my small appliances (like a small Keurig) and electronics? And how would I charge the standalone battery? Lots of questions so I will definitely appreciate any advice from you. Thanks!!

I keep my carousel plate in the microwave. Simply stuff a towel inside. Along with my bread.

Lesson learn today, going cheap never is a good thing waste time and energy. Just get a jackery 1000 cost about $799 easier to carry.
