I was hoping I could cook with a microwave living in a mini van, that watt usage should be like 100 watts for 10 mins of cooking rice nice. Can you do some test with it and see how well it cooks the basics like potato, rice, boiling water and the amount of energy used for each
Personally, in a future camper van set up I will opt for more power output being available, this is a wonderful option for reheating food on lunch breaks but I think it would take a decent length of time to really cook food… I’m interested in that as well, I will put it down as a consideration for a video !! I find that food id normally reheat for 1minute in a 1200 watt microwave takes about 4-5 minutes in this one on level 4, maybe that helps! I have ran it for over 5 minutes and did not get a plain cup of water to boil either
Good if thats all you could get at the time. Not sure but a pecron or vtoman is a nice budget system. You dont need to charge it fast maybe you get a 1500 watt capacity. Dont need to overload it much. Would of been better maybe for the price range. Maybe for the same price.
It’s crazy how the industry has come down in price and increased in options in such a short period of time. I’m hoping to upgrade to a bigger system when I build a weekender camping rig! Thanks for watching !
Does it cut off at power level 6? Because other microwaves still pull the same amount of power but when you change the power level it changes the output but the draw is still the same . Did you try it on higher power levels?
