U hold controller with claw is that the only way to wall bounce.. because holding controller normal way I can't wall bounce. I can't turn camera and tap a
i mean, other gears. Yeah your dead, but this give you time to recover, unless the enemy has a quick reaction. Dont know how many times i got killed at the start of the animation vs the end of the rolling animation
I've been getting into gears more competitively, and these have helped a lot. I used to be inconsistent with gunfights, but now I find myself winning 70-80% of them. Thanks again for the great tips
That’s not a problem. I feel treat way too when I’m so certain I shot the guy and we don’t end up trading. But honestly that’s just the game being much better quality. The servers ring at 60 hertz. So the tick rate for the feedback for shit happening in game is must more responsive. So technically that allows for less trades to happen because one person did in fact shot before the other player so the servers are better able to display that. People traded so much but in gow 3 because the servers weren’t as good. So technically it’s a better quality game we’re playing bro.
Lol everyone is trippin, gears 5 headshot sound is definitely different than gears 1 - 4. I think gears 3 was the best, but gears 5 isn't necessarily bad. It is true that sometimes you hear the sound effect even when the game doesn't give you a headshot kill, because the enemies head does actually explode but I guess you hit their body more than their head lmao

I agree. But the gnasher whores didn’t like it. But I thought it was a fair trade for those who aren’t good with the gnasher. Instant death if you are at very close range, but easily punishable with your long ass reload if you miss.
I use to absolutely destroy every game with a sawn off it was incredibly op and soooo many gnasher whiners would get so incredibly pissed off with me haha! So I'm gutted there's no sawn off now I'm just gonna have to suck at every match again :(
I totally agree. It was the best weapon of the game. I killed thousands of those damn wallbouncers that ruin the game. When you could choose hammerburst, retro lancer, lancer and gansher and sawed off you had a lot o variety. Years 3 was the best PvP except for hammerburst cheaters with rapid fire (and they were a lot).

I've been playing since the beginning (2006) but some years I didn't really play or had an xbox one, in pawn shop, ect (I'm a working adult) lol. If I played like almost every day since 2006 I can only imagine I'd be like INSANLEY good. The thing is, I still fuckin wreck😏. When the first one came out I wasn't working at the time and was playing like 24/7 lol. I still have a sniper montage up here on youtube that I like to watch sometimes
Gears 5 makes me feel like I suck at Gears. I was really good in Gears 2 and even 3 but with 4 and 5 I cant seem to get it. How is an active reload at point blank only go 98%? Then people shoot me from further away and either go down in one hit or explode.
@@CultivatedBunny So as far as I understand it, a standard reload on the Gnasher only reloads 3 shots. If you get the active, you reload the entire clip. There is no difference in damage per shot done. Active reload does something different for each gun, and I believe most of them do end up being more damage because they increase things like headshot damage, decrease bullet spread, increase rate of fire, etc.
Yeah man same for me. And it hurts me too because I was a 1v Player. I think the gnasher should've been copy and pasted from gow 3 along with the movement.
There is lots of times where you will get into a gun fight and the other guy happens to land the first shot, and you’re also in the 2 sit down range. If he’s close to a wall up A him between shots like stated in he video. Or use a reaction shot if they are a bit further away. Both work great if you can read the situation and react quickly.

Man I suck at gnashering off a wall and almost always loose left hand fights! I love this game so far and always played gears casually for campaign but playing multiplayer is frustrating cause I know I can be so much better than I am rn.

I'm using your settings along with classic alt. It's really fast but eventually I'll develop that mind muscle connection and get used to it. For the time being I'm getting thrashed getting accustomed to the game speed lol
Another tip would be if you’re noticing you’re getting a lot of 94-99%’s with the gnasher when trying to Gib, the issue is most likely ping and you should shoot a 1/2 second later

Do u play on tournament or tournament alt or default?? Also a camera to show ur movement while using a controller would be nice but ur videos are so in depth with how u explain shit I learned alot by watching ur shit. Keep it up man
When I reaction shot or wrap around shot, instead of continuing to run straight out of the cover, I instead roadie run to where I just shot rather than the camera adjusting to where I am running. Very annoying and cant find an option to fix.

Play gears 5 is great but does anyone else get shot n watch the kill Cam and your not even there anymore? Like I'm bouncing n they just shoot my shadow or something n still hit me for a shit ton. So much bugs but they definitelycan improve I hope
aye bro, solid video, i think you got reaction shot mixed up with the advanced up a, i thought reaction is when you pull off cover while shooting then retake cover. very effective when going against a player that has right hand advantage. i could be wrong on the names tho, anyways keep it up.
