Fun fact: If you own a physical copy of gears of war 2 doesn’t matter if it’s limited edition or standard, you get the gold Hammerburst and gold lancer skins for free. You will see the gold weapon skins while the disc is installing on your Xbox one. No need to buy a brand new limited edition of Gears of war 2 anymore, unless your a collector with no desire to resale it. Pretty cool that Microsoft did this to please those who missed out on those skins back in 2008. The same features apply when the Xbox series x releases this holiday. You insert your physical copy of Gears of war 2 in your Xbox series x and bam gold skins are there for you to download for free once again. I hope this helped anyone who wanted the gold skins and don’t want to fork over $100+ for a new copy of Gears of war 2 Limited edition or rank up to level 100 to get the gold skins.
