Gears of War 3: Horde mode wave 50 

This was one of the first videos for gears I ever found back in 2011. Thank you for making this content.

Can't ever get to wave 50 because all my teammates always leave.

That was a pretty sexy firing line at 5:54.

I still remember the first time I did 50 waves of Horde on insane. Did it on Thrashball. Me and my two buddies, were like, "glad that's finally over with."

They pushed the 360 to its limits on its last years.

They must have did an update, because back I'm 2011 it was four.

Furthest I've ever made it was Wave 43, usually that's around the point where things go wrong and people start leaving.

it's crazy how they finished Horde Mode 2 days after the game came out (GOW3 made out on September 20, 2011)

Why dosnt any one play horde any more

the best thing about horde mode is that it becomes way easier when you've unlocked all the fortifications and their upgrades. and nice try with the flank on the second brumak. but well done on completing wave 50

how do you get sentry guns unlocked. i got em all except for the 6th one and the sentrygun

What difficulty is this on? And did you use any mutators? Whether you did or not it doesn't matter because it still takes skill to get to wave 50.

@theeedking If you have a hammerburst, while sighting in, you press the right analog stick down

That wasn't an invisible wall you shot, it was the cover itself. I've done that before.

@SomeoneNamedChris depends.. did u join a game that was on like wave 32 or so? i did 1-50 all in one go twice, thats how i got the achieve.. took quite some hours tho =/ honestly i dont think it counts the waves u already did, like in ur case..

is it like the beta where you can revive yourself when nobody is around all you have to do is keep on tapping A when your still on the floor and you stand up by yourself gradually

i went to play horde last night and i couldnt fortify my area.. why is this happening or was it taken out of the game???

@xryannxxx well, they are easier to avoid since they aim at you in gears 3, and the belly is more visible so you can kill it easier

Awhile ago I thought the cog gear had the same voice actor as the carmines

hardest thing about even getting to level 50 is playing with people who are willing to stick it out that long

@hgw24 Exactly, most people quit around waves 20-30. Hell, I played so many Horde games and I still haven't reached wave 40...

I still don't understand why Hammerburst is that good... EVerytime I always run out of ammo for my Lancer or Retro Lancer and ended up having to pick up Hammberburst from the enemies and I fall behind from everyone ever since I cannot find a Lancer or Retro Lancer

pfffft horde is way easier when you have 5 people. Ive played it with just two and gotten to wave 50. IIT IS WAY HARDER...but still nice job guys :D

How are there 5 players? Horde goes up to 4.

Ive gotten to lvl 47 at the max all on singleplayer,True story. All i have to say is, if you attempt to do the same you will be doing a CoD zombies run around the map in order to survive. Especially with all the shit trying to rush you.

i totally understand (i still play GOW 3 Horde and TDM's) but why did he buy something older, why not buy something newer not GOW J but any other. I thought people prefer latest things.

That was my point. I've never played any of the GoW's but I played Fable: TLC (loved it). I thought Fable 3 would at least live up to its expectations so I skipped the chance to buy GoW 1/2/3... How stupid I was.

Played up to wave 39 with 3 people last night on Drydock. Eventually got to the point where we were raped by like two armored kantus and a million blood mounts that wouldn't go down :/ hate those things.

was playing this round 5 mins ago, tried to start at wave 50 and see what it would be like SEE'S BRUMAK AND IMMEDIATELY I TURN OFF MY 360
