I always wanted to make a video that showed the bond between Marcus and Dom, as well as the emotional and physical burden the members of Delta squad had to carry throughout the trilogy. This is my best attempt to depict that. And although this video is flawed, I believe this outshines anything Gears of War Judgement, 4, 5, and even 6 has to offer gears fans. This trilogy was my childhood and has been a huge impact in my life more than expected. A co-op game that bonded my brothers and I together.
I do not own the music or footage used, all rights go to their rightful owners.

I miss having my little brother with me all the time, he played as Dom during all 3 games. We both cried when we lost him. Haven’t played with anybody else since I left to the army over ten years ago.

Same, I was always Dom and we both cried when he died. My brother always played as Marcus and he's been gone now for a while. Our Xbox had the red ring of death and we didn't know our login info, years later we started new accounts and I have been playing on both of our accounts to get our stuff back. And when he comes back I hope to play again and pick up where we left off

It was sad losing Dom, but it hit a lot harder having read Aspho Fields. I didnt expect them to kill him off. Figured it would be Cole. Then bam, Marcus loses his little brother. Damn that hurt. I thought Marcus crying while he held what was left of Carlos in the book was rough, and then that. Not to mention Cole writing letters to his deceased mom. As someone who lost their mom, that was brutal, too. What a beautifully heavy series.

Yeah still have it saved on my 360 as it does hit hard. Tbh gears 1 with mad world, gears 2 with this song and the gears 3 dust to dust trailer. All three were amazingly well done and picked great songs to set the desperation of the gears universe.

Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gear of War 3. Games that will always be in my heart, forever. My best friends, my brothers, to this day I met through this franchise. 15+ years playing with them. We have met in person, we have laughed, we have cried, we have celebrated, we have mourned. What a fascinating era. I would love to live those days again. But I doubt that will happen. I guess that is what makes those days so special.

It always felt like they were fighting a losing battle. But they always saw "a place in the sun for all that you done" hoping for some peace but something always happen and it ends up worse for the cog. And yet they still keep fighting. Brothers till the end. And even after that.

Great job man. Made me tear up. I remember being 12 and bawling my eyes at Dom's death. I can't even tell you how many times I've played through 1-3. Just fantastic games. Shame that 4 and 5 dropped the ball so hard, the only good thing about 4 was the trailer. The only good thing about 5 was that it was so forgettable. I'm on my knees praying to God that Gears E-Day is good. I don't really have a lot of hope, but I have some.

I grew up on gears especially 2 would run over to my friends house and play it everyday, I recently replayed all 3 with my GF and it was amazing made me sad remembering my childhood didint exactly feel the same but it was nostalgic and loved it 😢❤

Never played Gears... In fact I don't play games at all. But I have this compulsion to watch these videos. The ash corpses are just incredibly sad... Especially the mother holding her child and clutching her baby. Not sure how a person could be human again after witnessing something like that in real life.

I remember i will play with my older brother when I was 10 ,my brother 1st player and me i always play dom , me and my older brother we always have full playing all 3 gears of war games and whenever we played the hardest difficulty we fail, laugh, gone crazy lol and learn the level in the end still somehow beat gears of war hardest difficulty with luck . Wholeheartedly agree, I come off as extreme to some but I strongly dislike the direction they took gears of war 4 and 5. A prequel that introduced the war with the UIR and emergence day would have been much darker and fitting than whatever you can call the current games

They should’ve expanded on that first level of gears 4 where you’re with dom fighting the uir to get the hammer of dawn. If they made a trilogy of that I’d still be on board for a new trilogy. Such a shame too, it reminds me of what 343 has done with halo since they got it from bungie.

@@blickman5090 I think judgement was an amazing story idea with great characters but a distasteful execution of gameplay mechanics. I personally feel like it was just seen as a spin-off so much that even the creators didn't make the game with much depth to it. I can still appreciate what has gone into it but I feel like they changed so much of what we know to be gears of war that it can't hold a candle to the original trilogy even if was much loved
