Algebra Essentials, Lesson 11, Solving Multistep Equations
Get the book at bit.ly/AEGEDBook
A strong foundation in the symbolic "language" of algebra along with the concepts of simplifying and solving are very important to the GED® Math Test and for college. Algebra Essentials provides that foundation for struggling students by focusing deeply on algebraic reasoning.
In this, the eleventh lesson from Algebra Essentials, we'll see a whole lot of GED style linear equations and follow our three wisdom principles to solve them: simplify the left- and right-hand sides, get the variable terms to the same side, then isolate the variable. And along the way we'll make some new friends: GEMA and AMEG, the algebra twins.
