A strong foundation in the symbolic "language" of algebra along with the concepts of simplifying and solving are very important to the GED® Math Test and for college. Algebra Essentials provides that foundation for struggling students by focusing deeply on algebraic reasoning.
In this, the twelfth and final lesson of Algebra Essentials, we'll extend our understanding of solving as we solve inequalities, relationships between expressions that feature less than or greater than signs rather than equal signs. Good news: all the "wisdom principles" of solving still apply. But we will learn that some changes we make to an inequality can affect the relationship between the expressions, flipping the inequality symbol.
